Before watching this video I find it hard to believe that anyone being on Harden side this is his third time doing this and all the times he forced his way out. Even if Morey promised him money Harden didn't earn it game 6 and 7 the games that matter he didn't show up. So be prepared for a Harden that is fat and putting in low effort in the season. It wasn’t just Morey - it was Josh Harris who just bought the Commanders. He said no after this playoff run. I get both sides of this one as well and I am a lifelong Sixers fan who is just over it at this point. The process was a failure - Embiid and Harden are very good and very talented but they don’t have that dog in them - that fire needed to win, and I like them both. But Harden is a number 3 at this pony who chokes in the playoffs. He is out of shape- went to Vegas during the playoffs. When Harden has the ball in his hands so much you can’t win with him when he shuts down. Joel shut it down too. The game 5 Sixers were a championship team - that team disappeared after that. Harden was the biggest reason for 2 wins and the biggest reason for 3 losses. There is a reason no one wants him. Harden didn’t hold up his end of the deal that’s the problem. Morey is gonna get fired by the end of next season and a new GM is gonna trade Embiid. Embiid can be a really good number 2 on a title team - not a number 1. Mentally can’t do it and his body can’t hold up either. That’s why he wanted Jimmy so bad. The process failed cause of choosing Ben over Jimmy Butler - that was the end. Of course there were many bad moves along the way but that was the point of no return. Harden also gets a 5 mill bonus if he gets traded - that’s why he is mad too.
