Just really hard to see them working together because I really can't see Dave producing without him stepping in to show them all the riffs and giving Lars the side eyes all the time and go "see this is what happens when drummers don't do their homework, see "LaRs"... Sometimes I struggle to find humor in these situations. As an empath I feel some underlying issues when any member of Metallica spoofs Dave Mustaine. The whole thing always feels so passive aggressive. You don’t have to love Dave Mustaine but mocking him isn’t necessary either, especially as Dave still likes James. I’m glad others of you enjoy this, it’s just hard for me to laugh about it. Mustaine can be emotional at times but underneath is a man who just wants to feel the loyalty we all want to feel, he’s not always a jerk.
