Wonderful track. A very sad story though, and Mr. Mason has received the recognition he deserves far too late. Before I read the albums linear notes written by Mr. Mason himself I had been scratching my head for ages as to how such a musical genius (who was clearly ahead of his time may I add) could just vanish off of the face of the Earth after such a flawless and revolutionary album. If 'Rhythm of Life' had just received more publicity and Mr. Mason was backed by a solid record label who knows what he could have accomplished. The music industry just were not ready for a man of such talents. The important thing now is that we can enjoy even more of his works of art in 'Recollection Echos', and we can all enjoy it together. James Mason shall forever be a legend, pioneering and influencing the 'Jazz Fusion' genre heavily. It has been made sure now that he will never be forgotten.

R. Grant james mason album rhythm of life album & i want your love,ramp,and stanton davis ghetto/mysticims album brighter days all have been reissued since their obscurity and lack of promotion. All these artists have post releases of unreleased material and remixes. All worth collecting.
