I read where male baldness comes from the mother's side of the family. Paul's Mom may not have had anyone bald in her family but Linda's apparently did. And just because the mother might have a bald relative certainly doesn't mean the male children will be. Conversely, if there is a bald child you can bet someone on the mother's side was bald.

There's no hiding behind dad's figure here. That's a proper guitar player right there ladies and gentlemen. You can't play like that just by saying"daddy I want to be famous, get me lessons", that is real talent. You can have as much lessons as you want but if you haven't got the talent or fingers and hands for it then you ain't getting to that level. I know because I've taught myself to play and I'm not that good, because my fingers aren't long enough and don't have the dexterity needed to be REALLY good, so I'm probably below average. But that is genuine talent and ability, right there. Peace and Love.
@GardensGuitars4 жыл бұрын
He prob just has more free time than you to practice is all to be honest. Not sure how long you've been playing, but there's no Hendrix style wizardy going on in this video. If you really think your fingers aren't long enough, maybe look into mandolin or banjo or Uke. Some people with really big hands and long fingers make awesome bass players, but can't play mandolin at all. Other people with smaller fingers are great at mandolin and banjo and uke, but don't have the hands to wrap around a bass or some guitars well. This is one of my favorite Rolling Stones jams, but it is a simple song in terms of chord theory, and the brief guitar solo he played is fine, it's pleasant with no mistakes, but its very basic and easy to play. Guitar is mostly a technical skill, not a mysterious artistic talent. More time spent practicing = get better and better.

Why do I sense James McCartney II has managed to humble himself out of existence?? He can play guitar, and I get the impression that if a real singer showed up and challenged him, he'd up his vocal chops to match them. (Note the high part on "Old Man" by Neil Young, which he also does here on KZbin.) If I was doing the Merry Clayton vocal here (at which I have demonstrated capability), I'd tell him to find the vocal chords he's buried somewhere below his abdomen and show us what he's got.
