Wow! What a great series of lectures. I majored in physiology in 1974 at U of Illinois, and was always interested in the physiology of muscle. It is so interesting to see how all this stuff panned out over the intervening years. ATPase motor protein force/movement production is a universal principal in eucaryotic cells, from striated muscle to microtubules.

From were the force vector comes in to swing myosen head??? Is it from the release of phosphate molecule that the myosen head swings the other way according to netwons 3rd law.
