I've been 'studying' James Brown recently. Of course he private 'issues' , think of him as you wish. He was a very intelligent,wise man and always put forward a very positive vibe. He used his talent for good. Soul Brother #1 , no doubt! I am grateful we had James Brown in the world...

@@josephellis6697 None. All that's out there of the '74 engagement are bootlegs. However, the 1973 Apollo shows were professionally filmed, but the scant footage available is low quality. But '74 is what I want. Never has a JB concert showcased so much of his current funk!

He had quick wardrobe changes he interviewed they talked about scripture and political issues . He was “sanging” and people of all ages they danced. They slow danced and it was just a certain race of people it was everyone. The Dance Off with the David Bowie sample😮😮😮😮😮 enjoy life while you can. Everyone God bless.❤

James went on SOUL TRAIN..asked Don who was he with to make his show, Don told him it's just me~ James figured he could do it too! not happening!! James Brown another American dream! aka The Godfather!!
@johncaldwell881Ай бұрын
The reason James asked him that, first, you gotta remember James Brown is from a whole different era, so is Don Cornelius. Because back in those days we always get the white man’s permission, validation for anything and everything, he also thought it was white producers running the show

What we should take from this is the story that was read. U think what we came from now education to not knowing taxes to wanting better himself and the community. U just didn't think a man who was so together would fall in 88. But he sat. THINK. And was a better man. Now that's black power.
