I spend a day exploring and eating in Amsterdam of The Netherlands. I start my day off with coffee from coffeecompany and then I explore the Rembrandt House Museum. After that, I check out the Waterlooplein Market, a long-standing flea market selling antiques and vintage items. Next, I purchase some Dutch snacks from FEBO, a chain of automat restaurants. Later I get coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts and then fries from House of Fries. After that I explore Dam Square and sample some cheese from Cheese & More by Henri Willig. Finally, I walk around and explore the beautiful streets of the city before I have a quick dinner from Wok Inn.

Man looks like a nice place go visit and a lot of history round there….btw how was the race and what was your time?…if you don’t mind puttin that out there my time would be embarrassing so I wouldn’t post it

Absolutely! There's so much history in Amsterdam. The race was great! I was really worried though. On the day I got there it was pouring rain, but thankfully the weather was great for the race and I finished it in 3 hours 14 minutes and 31 seconds. I felt that I still could've done better though. I really should've gotten to the city earlier before the marathon as I was feeling the jetlag on race day, but still, it was a fun time. I'll be posting a short video detailing my experience of the marathon in the future.

Why don't you get a sim card when you travel out of the country?
@Jamesnu
@Jamesnu 11 ай бұрын
That's an option, but I just wouldn't have much use for it when I can use wifi later. It would've made it easier to find places with Google maps, but I always find where I need to be eventually.

how awesome. I liked your taking us on a walk about and some simple fare. are you finding food was expensive? what was the vibe like with a war going on in Europe?just curious how it felt
@Jamesnu
@Jamesnu Жыл бұрын
Thank you! It was a nice vibe. The war seemed very distant, but at the same time, I know that Europe is going through an energy crisis because of the war, but I didn't really feel the effect. Still, that could've been because I was a tourist and didn't have to deal with the same issues that the country's citizens would. Pricewise, everything was more affordable than NYC, which was so nice! It did also help because the exchange rate against the dollar was very good. Overall, at least as a tourist, it wasn't a bad time to be there. It was an amazing trip!
