Great review and test mate! Could you compare sound quality between go4 and marshall willen? I owe willen and I think it looses some clarity on high volume... Thinking to replace it with go4...

Does the EQ setting stick if you connect to another device without the app? The Tribit goes back to default in those cases, which is annoying.

go for a cheap go 3. then buu the go 4 when it's on sale.

Here are the main differences: The JBL Go 4 has a 1.75" vs. a 1.5" speaker, better battery life at 7 hours vs. 5 hours. Only the JBL Go 4 works with the JBL Portable App, plus lets you do multi speaker connection (Auracast). If these features are important, go for the Go 4, if not, get the Go 3 on sale.
