JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said he remains cautious on the U.S. economy over the next two years because of a combination of financial and geopolitical risks. “You have all these very powerful forces that are going to be affecting us in ’24 and ’25,” Dimon told Andrew Ross Sorkin Wednesday in a CNBC interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.

The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.

A perfect storm is brewing in the United States. Inflation, bank collapse, severe drought in the agricultural belt, recession, food shortages, diesel fuel and heating oil shortages, baby formula shortages, available automobile shortages and prices, the price of living place. It's all coming together and it could lead to a real disaster towards the end of this year (or sooner). With inflation currently at about 6%, my primary concern is how to maximize my savings/retirement fund of about $300k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains

Powerful forces Dimon referred to were strong US Dollar and rising 10 yr yield.

You got to remember during an actual crisis the ceo of country wide was on every financial channel saying only 6 percent of their loans were subprime even if they all went bad it would not take us down. While his emails said oh my god this is the worst thing ever. If you got out of the market 10 years ago when diamond first started saying this is the end where would you be now. When he is net short instead of long that is what you act on not anything else.

Question : why has JP Morgan been listed by BLACKROCK as one of the very few APs in its Bitcoin spot ETF application to the SEC ? (AP = Authorized Participant = a kind of wholesaler for the Bitcoin spot ETF of BLACKROCK) Why ? ... CNBC should ask the good questions, instead of making complacent interviews ...

You talk about the debt being 100% WHO GAVE YOU $8 trillion? The king of Debt did! Tax Cuts Are Responsible for the Increasing Debt Ratio! Without the Bush and Trump tax cuts, debt as a percentage of the economy would be declining permanently.

A lot of people hate Jamie Dimon because he's a banker, but he is probably one of the smartest people alive when it comes to finance. You can tell that, for him, a lot of mental cognition everyday goes into analyzing economics.

People hate him because he's a fraud in charge of a bank that has continued to commit illegal activities.. over 38 billion dollars in fines over 200 violations since he's been ceo.. and never seen jail or prison because of the power he holds over the great nation that he's trying to ruin. He's a hypocrite and a fraud. You want to make America great again?

U.S. policymakers have substantially reduced taxes for wealthy households in recent decades. The 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts[2] reduced individual income tax rates, taxes on capital gains and dividends, and the tax on estates, all of which provided the largest benefits to the highest-income taxpayers. Though policymakers let many of the Bush tax cuts for high-income households expire in 2013, the 2017 Trump tax cuts again lowered individual income tax rates (including the top rate) and weakened the estate tax, so that it applied only to the wealthiest estates: those worth more than $11 million per person or $22 million per couple, indexed for inflation. The 2017 law also created a large new tax deduction on “pass-through” business income (business income from partnerships, S corporations, and sole proprietorships) and enacted large and permanent tax cuts for corporations. Taken together, these tax cuts disproportionately flowed to households at the top and cost significant federal revenues, adding trillions to the national debt since their enactment.[3] By shrinking revenues, these tax cuts limit policymakers’ ability and willingness to make public investments that pay off in tangible and important ways for individuals, families, communities, and the country as a whole.
