Oh Jamie, this is so lovely! I loved seeing the walk-thru of last year’s album too. Beautiful memories. This just verifies that this type of memory keeping is more than a hobby. It is an important part of ensuring family never forgets what is important in life. Thank you so much for sharing ❤

Thank you so much. Such high praise. And I agree...it is an art form. No matter how we go about these story tellings. Art form indeed. Thank you for watching!

So beautiful and dramatic. Such a fun project, and genius to use the ombre paper. Love it. Since I lost my mom, I wholeheartedly understand and relate to the emotions you're feeling - I'm sorry - you are in my prayers.❤

Thank you thank you for your kind words. I did not intend for that walk through to be a bit of an emotional ride. But this is true life. And it seems so many can relate to these emotions. Thank you for watching and always being so kind.

Your December book from 2023 is one of my most favorite things that you have ever shared with us. I absolutely love it so much that I may have copied most of it for my December 2023 book. I agree so much with the "storytelling" aspect of this video. It's so important and needs to be done. The part of this video where you spoke about your Mom not being here this year really got to me. I feel for you. This will be my 2nd Christmas without my Mom and I totally understand how hard that is. It's just so hard. Praying for your peace and comfort at this time of year. These "emotional journies" are definitely hard, but so important to tell. This new album is going to be beautiful and I know will give your last years one a run for its money. So beautiful, Jamie. Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us!!!

You bless me with your very kind words, Marcia. Thank you is not enough. It is also good we all have each other and this community to share. My hope is that we take those photos and write those stories which also is its own healing process. Thank you for watching. Hope you give it a go too.

Thank you for sharing the heartfelt walk thru of your album. I think many of us can relate to similar emotions. I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom. I miss my mama every day but it’s especially hard during the holidays. Thank you for the reminder of how important it is to document our lives and stories. It’s not always easy to take those photos but so very important. I love the branch tree and can’t wait to play. You are so inspiring, thank you for all you do and share with us. Happy Holidays to you and your family. ❤

Not reinventing the wheel SO resonates! I have looked over the past 9 years of December albums I have made to pick out some of my most favorite pages and use those as my jumping off points. I remember how hard it was to do my album the year Caleb died...but God's grace was apparent as I chose to use my making as a healing and to honor his legacy. I love this tree (and lucky me I already have this die!). Trees seem to be the them or icon most used in my current 2024 album thus far.
@JamiePateКүн бұрын
Not surprised you have the die. It is well loved around here. Am sure you do the same. And I can understand your sentiment. Although I just cannot even image losing a child. Bless you, Denise. As you continue to walk through your journey. Enjoy your book.
