Hi Jerry, thanks for your detailed recipe. I tried it out, but I think the jamuns I had were more in quantity, so it has turned out very sour. Is it okay to add sugar after the wine is ready?
@TravelChefwithJerryJoseph2 жыл бұрын
Oh my. I feel you add the sugar and add some more yeast and leave it for another 15 days and let's see how it comes out. I wish it comes out nicely 😊

Hello, thanks for this video. I have a question: When the fermentation process is finished And get the final drink Can we consume it? Does it contain methanol? Could it be Sam?
@TravelChefwithJerryJoseph2 жыл бұрын
You will be required to filter it and then you can consume after placing it in the bottle

Can you please tell me… what’s difference in Vinegar , and Wine making, and food value wise
@TravelChefwithJerryJoseph Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply and this is an interesting question. However below is my thoughts Wine and vinegar are both products of fermentation, but they differ in their properties and nutritional values. Wine is made by fermenting grape juice and contains alcohol, sugar, and antioxidants such as resveratrol. Vinegar is produced by fermenting alcohol with acetic acid bacteria, resulting in a sour liquid with very little alcohol or sugar. Wine is commonly used as a flavoring agent in cooking and may have health benefits, while vinegar is a versatile ingredient that has low calories and may offer health benefits related to digestion and blood sugar control. Overall, wine and vinegar have distinct nutritional values and uses in cooking and nutrition.

Is it going to be a sweet wine? How much sugar do we need to make a sweet wine?
@TravelChefwithJerryJoseph2 жыл бұрын
It is a bit sweet because of the sugar. But it tapered down as we kept it for a long time. But use of sugar will depend on the sweetness of the jamun you get from the market

At initial stage you said " make sure there is no moisture in the vessel." But you just poured water over the JAMUN and crushed it.

When we double the quantity of fruit do we proportionately increase the quantity of yeast or use slightly less.
@TravelChefwithJerryJoseph2 жыл бұрын
