Good morning! Been a few weeks since I’ve commented. Hopefully your day got better after the fire alarm and water! Thanks again for all the hard work!

Great reports really excellent work. I follow several meteorologists & you sir are by far the most in depth of them all. Thank you very much for your work…❄️🌪️⛈️

Hi, yes want to second the other commenters - thanks for sticking with it. It sounds like it was an irritating night but you keep your spirits up - I really enjoy your very considered commentary on the weather patterns. Live just north of SF - in my county we have about average rainfall so far so it’s nice and green (California winter!) but the snowpack is suffering.

Thank you for doing this report after an unpleasant night. This winter is definitely different than last. Last winter, we had our snow and deep freeze in November and December. January and February were mild. It's looking to be the opposite this winter. Although, only a dusting of snow is predicted for my area. But I remember January being the colder month during the 2016 El Nino. Some people are annoyed when winter forecasts are not accurate. It didn't used to be that way, though. It was winter, and people expected, accepted, and were prepared for anything to happen. Hope you find a dry, warm place to stay awhile.

So lows intensify over 4-corners area of USA consistently because that is where the bottom of these atmospheric troughs happen to hit combined with down slope winds? I've always wondered why. Thanks for the info.

Eastern view Ikon on that 1st storm is purely elevational....1st rise off the coast past i-95, then the climb up into the hills, then into the mountains per se.

You sound like you got extra pep in your step today. Maybe a morning sprinkling is the new health trend.

I am going to Niagara falls Ontario on vacation Monday and I am staying for 2 weeks. What are the odds that we get a good snow storm in the next 2 weeks? I was hoping that this second system would be a huge snowstorm, but it is looking like it will be mostly rain now.

People don't get it. Baltimore area hasn't seen snow in over 800 days. Rain ain't doing a thing for our area. But let's ban plastic bags at grocery stores.
