You have to read the Bible in context. There are lot of people who has done that. I personally know a couple of them who has left everything for God. If God tells me I better do it , even if it is. To each one God has given different paths and we need to be ready to heed to His calling. But we as Christ followers need to give a portion of our wealth to the poor.

Well if you are a person who don’t believe there is a sky daddy and want to live your life according to your own terms then nothing matters . You are also a believer and has tremendous faith and your faith is that everything came from nothing and everything is matter and energy. My experience says plant life comes from plant life and animal Life comes from animal life never from matter and energy. Yes mutation happens but it does t change the species. I believe there is a creator that created the universe and gave us moral laws .Still you ( atheist) hold the most morals which has no basis. But I can understand you as I was also rejecting my parents faith and questioning God’s existence at one time. Nothing was wired into me you should also understand that people with faith also has thinking mind and they came up with their faith due to their experience and convictions.

Moreover gifted with the oratorical skills and being a voracious reader is qualified to speak on subjects he chooses. But personally I feel instead of giving importance to religious talks.. He should come out with topics of Science like physics, Chemistry, biology basics..I feel being a Keralite most of us are not aware or understand even the rudiments of science. Neil de grasse Tyson does this and is very popular, he is a great teacher like our own Ravi Sir.. Perhaps we are immersed in religion and it's believes, for the the simple factor we aware the abcd of the objective truth which is Science.

Choice is persons right as a human being no doubt.But ones choice shouldn't used to experiment on or influence the life of another person.Thats where abortion comes into play.Creating a life is ur responsibility,once u create a potential life ur choice no longer comes into play.
