FUN FACT: That was ACTUALLY Janet doing the backflip....She's talked about it before....She also did it in the music video for "Nasty". ✅
@d_and_d_reacts2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info! I think everybody thought it was a double because of how it was shot. But I read an interview where she mentioned it was actually her.
@TheRemixstress2 жыл бұрын
@@d_and_d_reacts Yes, that was the thing she talked about, that she hated how it was shot because it made it look like a double.

Nice reaction, with you and ur daughter. Showing her old music vids. Would love to see you give her another go at a Janet video but you should show her Rhythm Nation, IF or All For You. And maybe let her watch the entire video before she comments cuz Janet's video's are like mini short-films.

Dude, is your young lady there bereft of fun or enjoyment? Sigh. Bloody kids. Janet rocks, she was supreme and as a pasty faced white Scottish boy, I loved Janet, I grew up with her. Don't forget her awesome duet with Luther Vandros, great song. I studied with her music when I was at college... and Rythm Nation, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis producing, can't go wrong

@@d_and_d_reacts thanks buddy, from sunny Australia, you have a fan and I also beleive music is about feelings and emotion but moreover just enjoying it, you seem to do that, try out Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, Visage, Ultravox, Depecghe Mode, you will get a lot of likes from old 80's kids like me, they will find you. I wish you well.

Oh man, I feel sorry for your daughter. I watched the reaction video. You look excited while she felt bored. Young people usually don't like old music. They want to hear the music of their generation. And it's just not cool when her dad tries to convince her how great the song was/is, how old you were those days, when she obviously doesn't like it. Don't get me wrong. I'm around your age but I didn't want to hear my parents music too, when I was a young kid.
@d_and_d_reacts2 жыл бұрын
Yes I can relate, I didn’t appreciate a lot of music my parents were into. But she does enjoy a lot of songs from 80s and 90s, including Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, New Edition, etc.).
@leroyrs2 жыл бұрын
@@d_and_d_reacts Well I absolutely appreciate your daughter's honesty. There are too many reaction youtubers who praise everything that was requested by their viewers especially when requests came via patreon. So I definetly would prefer your channel's reaction instead of joining one of the vast numbers of fake reactions just to please their patreon members. BTW Maybe she likes "That's the way love goes" 😉
@ceciliaandrews54942 жыл бұрын
Just found your channel and quickly subscribed cause y'all are adorable. Just a quick comment about young folks not liking their parents music. Yep, think this experience is so generationally American, and personally heard Mom&Dad (Platters, Jackie Wilson, Dinah Washington, John Coltrane, etc) plus Grandparents "clean the house" music (Count Bassie, Cab Calloway, Louis Jordan, Mahalia Jackson) and didn't appreciate the actual music until later but in retrospect remember that I did like watching THEM react to their music cause it was a part of them. So, hope y'all dont mind me saying this, it's okay if baby girl cant get into Pops music, but am betting she's loves her Daddy very much.🤗😊✝️
@d_and_d_reacts2 жыл бұрын
Cecilia well spoken! I too didn’t really appreciate my mom’s music until o got older. I loved when she played Whitney, Anita, Luther, but artist like Sam Cooke, Isley Brothers, and E,W,& F, I didn’t get into until I was older.
@glennholden68202 жыл бұрын
I think it defeats the purpose of a videos greatness when you keep stopping it. It messes up the flow and rythem. I don't know why a lot of youtube reactors do this but to me its like destroying the work. Do you want to have a great scene in a movie stopped as its happening ?. The videos are Like 3 to 5 minutes...Let them play and talk about it after
@d_and_d_reacts2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for commenting, but I would ask you, are you watching for the reaction or for the video itself? If you’re watching for the reaction, then you have to expect there to be stops. If you’re watching it just for the video, then kindly search the video and watch it uninterrupted(link in the description). The reason KZbinrs react in this manner is to give you commentary in that moment. Some songs have way too many things to unpack to wait until the end of the song.
@CraftyMomof122 жыл бұрын
I like when the reviewers stop to give commentary at various places instead of waiting to the end 😘
