You know... I have tried so many Note taking Apps and cannot understand why more reviewers do not have Onenote as the best. First I figured, young people must really not like Microsoft, then it was, Maaaannn I must be really old to like a Microsoft products. Now finally Janice says it... OneNote is the best. It is the most amazingly simple layout that you are already use to if you ever used word. Since this 2019 I decided to use as a Journal. Pictures, video, handwriting, meetings, voice memos done everyday, up adding this response to it today. Just by doing this, can I tell you how it has changed my life!

Haha I was using word at the beginning of junior high and I was so used to custom styles and table formatting that when I switched a few months after to OneNote, it was kinda bugging me. I got used to it. Took years but yeah. OneNote is kinda confusing as you have the computer version, the app version and the web version. I suppose the web one is the same one as the app? Don't use that one. I have three versions of OneNote installed on my computer and I use all three lol. That's kinda a big con imho. I'd love an app that's the same on all devices and I suppose such app exists but after almost a decade of using OneNote, I'm not easily convinced to try something new.

I do a lot of math classes. Math doesn't lend itself well to typing, so I generally handwrite all of my math notes and homework. I like that I can switch from graph to lined to blank paper and back. Though I've found that I tend to drift horizontally, and it makes it annoying to try to fit my homework back onto a printable page. So I generally use the ruler to make a line that I try not to cross. I also like that I can write huge if I want. Oh, and it has an audio record function. It has shitty audio quality, but it has saved my bacon more than once to record my lectures as a general rule. 99% of the time, I never listen to the lecture again, but if I don't have it, It bites me. I'm autisic, and because of that, it takes me a minute to comprehend what I hear. If you mumble, or talk fast, or say some idiom that I wasn't expecting, or have an accent... I usually understand about half of what you say. Recording lectures helps a lot with those types of professors.

Thanks for the video. Well summarised! Whether to go fully Goodnotes or Onenotes was a "to be or not to be?" question. You've shown a method to integrate it. If Onenote had the option of setting page sizes, along side it's wonderful eternity canvas like facility, then Goodnotes perhaps would not have come into question at all. Did you struggle with the decision?
@JaniceStudies5 жыл бұрын
I mainly leaned towards OneNote for its organization and syncing features, and also its compatibility on practically all devices. So if I didn't have my iPad or computer with me, I could still view the exact same content on my phone. I think OneNote would benefit greatly from having set page sizes as well. However, I do dabble in both OneNote and GoodNotes since they address different needs for me!
