The thing is that, when two companies make a collab, it's often expected that they do something more than the bare minimum, something that encapsulates both souls of each brand. In this case, Nike released some average shoes just by plastering them in that teal colour that Tiffany's has registered. That, when they could have done much more, like some not to other Tiffany's imagery, like it's heart, the movie, Audrey Hepburn and so on. So, yes, printing your average shoe in a different colour, overprice it and call it a day is a bad idea. Consumers were expecting a little bit more of this collaboration.
