Scandinavian licorice is so good tho! they have that rotting soap fish that's no doubt awful and i'll never go near it, but as for licorice, it's soo good. atm i'm obsessed with tyrkisk peber, which is from norway, and it's a sweet hard licorice candy, but it's also spicy cuse there's black pepper in with the black licorice, and then the outside layer is ammonium chloride, which has an extremely unique astringent sour salty flavor, and then in the middle there's more ammonium chloride. i love the salty licorice too. glycyrrhizin, the main component of licorice's flavor is actually something like 1000x sweeter than sugar by weight, so even salty licorice with no sugar in it has a sweetness to it. it's just so delicious!!

Danielle Spargo Actually, Tyrkisk peber isn’t Norweigan, it’s Danish. However it’s made by a Finnish company, Fazer, who distributes candy all over Scandinavia. /🇸🇪

And Jonathan, no one’s trolling 😁 Try it! Salty liquorice and salmiak is huge in Scandinavia. Of course it isn’t to everyones’ taste, but my five year old will happily choose salty liquorice over any other candy, and so would I! I’m not much of a chocolate person, but give me some salmiak and watch my spirit soar with pleasure 😍

Natsuki became like a wildcard with time. :D Maybe you need to make a specific type of episodes for him like testing different things from different countries (not only food). If I recall he wanted to travel around the world but he doesn't have the time for it. So maybe bringing the world to him is a nice alternative. :)

Seeing Natsuki for the first time makes you feel like a Labrador retriever meeting Natsuki for the first time. "I don't know who you are, but I love you!"

I know our boy Natsuki is the star of the video (like every time he delights us with his presence), but I hope you don't mind my saying your friend Chiaki is very beautiful. Also, as a German, the way you guys pronounce kunterbunt (multicolored) is very amusing.

I quite like the Mexican peanut candy. The chocolate covered one's good too.

I have family in Mexico that got me some of that marzipan before... it is SO addicting! Also as a general rule... anything with black licorice instantly gets a pass from me :P But I grew up in a school with a lot of dutch kids so.... *Flashbacks of dropjes nightmares come back to me*

OMG that dancing at the end, while never breaking eye contact with the camera, was equal parts mesmerising and terrifying!
