I remember going to Ichiran 4 years ago in Shibuya. It was during my graduation trip to Japan after finishing high school. Easily the best ramen I've had. I do wanna come back to Japan some day.

japan looks very friendly for foreigners!! i would love to visit japan but I'm too afraid because I do not know the language and it can be difficult for both foreigners and Japanese people
@amazingfoodandtravelinjapan Жыл бұрын
Yes, Japanese people are very kind ✨ Japanese language is difficult, but there is nothing to worry about!!! If you memorize the minimum number of words and speak, the Japanese around you should be able to guess from the words and give the best response 👍!!! It will definitely be the best trip ever 🙌😄

It is a lovely experience, you should definitely visit! %100 you’re gonna love it! I lived there for a while, they’re not rude but i struggled a lot searching for a place to rent and work, many people refused me even though I can speak Japanese fluently 🥹 If you need help with something younger people tend to be more open about it. Especially high school students. There are many unspoken rules so I would suggest searching a bit. Oh also, don’t be surprised if they don’t sit beside you at train… idk why they do that to foreigners but gaijin seat is a real thing 🥲

@amazingfoodandtravelinjapan Жыл бұрын
I hope that one day you will come to Japan and enjoy delicious food and culture 😄🥢It's true that Japanese is a difficult language, but I think it's good to start by memorizing only the words you'll need for sightseeing! Most Japanese people are kind to tourists visiting Japan, so they should be able to hear even one word and make an effort to understand 👌✨

Japanese isn’t hard until you get to Kanji. That’s why we have a system where you learn a specific amount of kanji each year in school, gradually getting harder and complex the higher the grade.

What is the white rice for?
@amazingfoodandtravelinjapan2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. It's similar to the culture of dipping bread in soup. The sweetness of the rice harmonizes with the ramen soup, It's delicious!

is there a ramen without pork in the menu?
@amazingfoodandtravelinjapan Жыл бұрын
You can decide whether or not to top your ramen with roasted pork fillet when you fill out the order sheet. However, since the base ramen is pork bone soup, it is impossible to completely eliminate pork 🐖🍜😋

Are there any non-pork broth at there?
@amazingfoodandtravelinjapan Жыл бұрын
Ichiran does not have a non-pork broth ramen. However, Ichiran's ramen does not have the unique smell of pork bones and is very easy to eat 😋🍜✨
If you have already purchased the additional order from the beginning, just place the tray on that button and the staff will come to you. There is a sensor on the back of the tray, and when you put it on the button, music sounds in the store, and the staff in the store can confirm that an additional order has been received and respond immediately 🍜✨
@amazingfoodandtravelinjapan Жыл бұрын
I didn't buy an additional order ticket at the beginning, so I called the staff and paid directly. So, instead of me, the staff used the tray to inform all the staff of the additional order.
