If you spend 400 dollars on a hair treatment it makes sense to make sure you also invest in quality products to maintain it. Dollar tree products most likely will not be suitable. Im lretty sure with this treatment there are things you should avoid in products to maintain the results AND make sure not to damage your hair.

I have bleached my hair platinum blonde with this and dyed it a lot and it's still good. Don't put oil in your hair like castor, coconut or olive oil because it's way too heavy. Use lightweight oils(argan, ogx weightless oils) and get a japanese shampoo and conditioner they're the best. Blow-dry if you want but I recommend it for volume and more flowy hair. I wash my hair twice a week and straighten or curl each time with low heat(don't be afraid of heat) sorry for unsolicited advice 🙃

Very good content format! I have only heard of this only once from Kelly Stamps and some tiktok someone showed me long ago. But i was interested because my hair journey has included chainging hair texture ( it was 4B/C after being damaged from heat/chemicals and perms , but after big chopping, healthier nutrition/ lifestyle, affirmations/subliminals and hair supplements it has become 4A/3C or what i call 3"D" lol ..... Eventually when i start wearing it long and straight i will need some options for longlasting affect. Your video was a thorough walk thru of what to expect before and after, and it wasnt too long or drawn out. THANK YOU SO MUCH. and

1) Chi hair products work well for straight or chemically processed hair. Try their shampoo and conditioner. 2) You have to use a heat protectant and blow-dry your hair after you wash it. This will keep the hair from getting frizzy. 3) You have to wrap your hair each night for long lasting results. Best of luck to you! =)

@@jeannemacie2080 it's up to you honestly😅its ok, some people are naturals for years and decide to go back to perms. It's not like it makes your hair unhealthy. Or if you wanna stay natural, just get silk presses(straightening your natural hair) every now and then. Whatever you choose, please be mindful of the amount of heat you use and ALWAYS keep your hair moisturized and deep conditioned! Use a good amount of heat protection when styling with heat!

The JHS changes the interior bonds of the hair strands, a relaxer just changes the exterior layer cuticle cortex layers of the strands. That’s why a relaxer will never give a silky straight finish and gets poofy over time, a relaxer is more of or less just relaxing the curls but not a straightener of the hair strands.

I three months before coloring and perming: I Brought from TEMU Rosemary essential oil, Morocco hair care, eelgoe juce hair care, essential oil repair, for split ends: from Walmart: African pride, anti-breakage, heat, protection, shine mist, silk elements, mega silk olive oil-heat protection spray, smooth hair glossy silk elements, hair growth ELAXAR angel hair heaven African pride, olive miracle, anti-breakage formula. And heat protection: three weeks after paying 110.00 for color at the salon, plus $30 tip. Then she wanted another $110 to perm it, I was natural for three years. Heat protections made my hair very straight and strong, perm cost me $4.95 at Walmart African price, olive oil, anti-break from Sally’s Cantù shea butter complete conditioning co-wash. I wrap my hair and it is still bone straight: I’ll be doing my own hair color in about two months. For under $2.00 dollars. Plus perm in four months.

You said the difference between that and a regular relaxer is that that Japanese procedure "makes your hair permanently straight until your new hair grows in.". *Uuuu.*. . *so does a regular relaxer*. *No different*.
@cocoaicci_
@cocoaicci_ 2 жыл бұрын
Relaxers don't make your hair BONE straight and shiny whereas Japanese straightening does. Relaxers are not supposed to make your hair bone straight as it is only supposed to 'relax' your curls hence why most people with regular relaxers have that poorly done blow out/frizzy straight looking hair.

The difference is that second step that they do to seal the hair in that state with a perm you just put the perm and wash it out and then you’re done and I do believe that air dried permed hair doesn’t look like that her hair is a lot straighter even though it’s a little bit puffy it’s a lot silkier than it would’ve been with a perm With a perm you would at least have to blow dry it to get it to look like that
