It’s amusing to watch people talking about the health and well-being of what’s already dead, hair. I personally highly recommend this. I get his done because my hair is frizzy and gets out of control with humidity. I guess it does do damage to some extent, but it appears glossier, and it’s still less damage than ironing everyday(most Japanese wash hair everyday so gotta iron everyday too).

I didnt believe at "when your hair is damage just cut it off!" I got my hair straight permanently last March 2019 and the stylist was telling me we need to cut your hair like half because your hair is dead from the bottom to the middle (My hair can reach my butt) and I was like NO just cut 4 inches of it. Nothing happen to the ends of my hair for the whole 8months. Just use an organic shampoo and conditioner and everything will be good. PS. My hair was okay for 8 months as I was continiuosly using that organic shampoo and conditioner I stop because cant afford it anymore. Lmao I spent $10 (600php) monthly.

Gavert Atelier Salon Hello, I’m interested in getting this hair service done. I have transitioning hair right now, but I don’t want to relax again as my hair is really fine and my hair breaks easily with relaxers? Am I a good candidate?
@anthonyfox5856 жыл бұрын
Delilah Santos I'm not an expert but I know that you're not supposed to use ammonium thioglycolate on hair previously relaxed using sodium hydroxide, guanidine hydroxide or any other type of hydroxide however you can have it done on new growth which I'm assuming is what you mean anyways lol but I think this would work better for you ammonium thioglycolate isn't as strong as hydroxide it has a lower pH which is healthier for hair and the neutralizer reconnects the disulfide bonds after the straightening process is finished leaving your hair in a much healthier state as opposed to hydroxide relaxer in fact to put into perspective how gentle this is, you don't even need to wear gloves when applying the straightening solution I hope this helps 🙂

What difference between relaxer and japanese straighting ?
@averykerns30646 жыл бұрын
japanese straightening uses perming solution instead of relaxers
@phiretiger44765 жыл бұрын
The entire process is different. With a relaxer the product is placed in hair and washed out with neutralizer shampoo. But with the Japanese there is two applications and washing products out twice plus heat tools used to seal in product.
@iamagod1975 жыл бұрын
Avery Kerns Actually a perm is when you make straight hair curly and a relaxer is curly to straight (not specifically curly to straight but any texture).

Please please go to Japanese stylists who have trained in Japan for this procedure, just like him on video. Yes, other salons might be less expensive, but unless the stylists have trained in Japan, they don't know what they are doing! This procedure hasn't been called "Japanese system" for nothing. There is a difference and this procedure has been invented and perfected in Japan. I had a terrible experience with a Korean stylist who hadn't trained in Japan! Yes, you can have this procedure every salon in Japan for $100-180, but outside of Japan? NEVER without Japanese stylists!

So pretty! Can this be done on previously texturized hair?
@yukinakatani51775 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes it can be done on texturized hair. But we don't recommend this straightening if your hair is currently damaged or bleached.
@yukinakatani51775 жыл бұрын
Yes you can but depends of the hair condition. If you would ask more details you can always call our salon! 310-858-7898 ask for Yuki.
