It’s amusing to watch people talking about the health and well-being of what’s already dead, hair. I personally highly recommend this. I get his done because my hair is frizzy and gets out of control with humidity. I guess it does do damage to some extent, but it appears glossier, and it’s still less damage than ironing everyday(most Japanese wash hair everyday so gotta iron everyday too).

I didnt believe at "when your hair is damage just cut it off!" I got my hair straight permanently last March 2019 and the stylist was telling me we need to cut your hair like half because your hair is dead from the bottom to the middle (My hair can reach my butt) and I was like NO just cut 4 inches of it. Nothing happen to the ends of my hair for the whole 8months. Just use an organic shampoo and conditioner and everything will be good. PS. My hair was okay for 8 months as I was continiuosly using that organic shampoo and conditioner I stop because cant afford it anymore. Lmao I spent $10 (600php) monthly.

Gavert Atelier Salon Hello, I’m interested in getting this hair service done. I have transitioning hair right now, but I don’t want to relax again as my hair is really fine and my hair breaks easily with relaxers? Am I a good candidate?
@anthonyfox585
@anthonyfox585 6 жыл бұрын
Delilah Santos I'm not an expert but I know that you're not supposed to use ammonium thioglycolate on hair previously relaxed using sodium hydroxide, guanidine hydroxide or any other type of hydroxide however you can have it done on new growth which I'm assuming is what you mean anyways lol but I think this would work better for you ammonium thioglycolate isn't as strong as hydroxide it has a lower pH which is healthier for hair and the neutralizer reconnects the disulfide bonds after the straightening process is finished leaving your hair in a much healthier state as opposed to hydroxide relaxer in fact to put into perspective how gentle this is, you don't even need to wear gloves when applying the straightening solution I hope this helps 🙂

Please please go to Japanese stylists who have trained in Japan for this procedure, just like him on video. Yes, other salons might be less expensive, but unless the stylists have trained in Japan, they don't know what they are doing! This procedure hasn't been called "Japanese system" for nothing. There is a difference and this procedure has been invented and perfected in Japan. I had a terrible experience with a Korean stylist who hadn't trained in Japan! Yes, you can have this procedure every salon in Japan for $100-180, but outside of Japan? NEVER without Japanese stylists!

Honestly dont approve of relaxers or “permanent” hair straightening. Just get a Professional hair straightener and whenever you straighten your hair, youll get the same result.

Curly HL it’s more about how low maintenance the hair is after getting the treatment done. After you shower, your hair will still dry straight just like how you first got it done.

Obviously, this is not her first time doing it. Why did you treated all her hair instead of only treating the part that grew back curly? Half of her hair was already straight!!
@gavertatelierBH
@gavertatelierBH Ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Yes, she previously had a treatment done at another salon. The straightening solution was only applied to the newly grown roots. The product applied to the ends of her hair was a protection and treatment, not a straightening solution.

Ms. Shaun Perrin You are the lucky one! There are several salons (run by Japanese stylists) in NYC. Ones I have been to are Shizen Brooklyn (Address 57 N 6TH ST (Between Whythe Ave & Kent Ave) Brooklyn NY 11249) and Michi Beauty Salon (208 E. 60th Street, New York, NY 10022). They have done excellent jobs for me (especially Shizen Brooklyn). Prices are $220-250+. There are many Japanese hair salons in NYC and you can just google Map "Japanese Hair Salon in NYC" and read reviews. :)
