HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

I find sushi too ostentatious. Too much ritual for a little bit of sea food or fish. I don't begrudge Trevor the gourmet experience but it leaves me totally unimpressed. Wouldn't pay a couple hundred for a bottle of wine or a premium for a whiskey either. Guess my taste buds are just too coarse.

I remember when Avril Lavigne announced her huge love for Japan in her Facebook, all Chinese and Koreans went berserk! Lmao! They have a problem with their brains.

Ostentatious? Idk what yall been taught about sushi, like it's Yeezys or something. Yall comparing what Japanese folks eat daily to be a flex, get outta here. My Man TJ be out there at the fish markets, eating with plastic boxes, aint even got a seat to sit on, just to get some fresh raw fish with soy sauce and wasabi. And u call that too much ritual. LMAO Give my man a break. Video titled STREET FOOD. If yall don't appreciate the dish cos yall aint culturally intellectual enough to think outside of your perception of a dish, why you watching my man Trevor? Arent we all here to see how cuisines are locally in different countries?

Why so many dislikes? Is it because of the raw food? Or is it because some people dislike Japanese? Don't worry about it Trevor, us fans are still with you. Anyway, I like the foods you're showing but they're kind of expensive. I'm filled with food envy watching you eat all those sushi/sashimi while I'm stuck with udon.

Nowadays people still might don't like Japanese government, but the new generations have wider eyes on the world. most of those old generation even dunno what is KZbin since Chinese government blocked KZbin from mainland China. Also, hate Japan is not equal to hate Travel's video and hate Japanese food, so don't be a hater and talk sht in the comment and says like all Chinese people dislike it, because we are not that low

What is with all the dislikes? Is it due to the raw fish or maybe the cost? I don't see the reasoning in disliking a particular video posted on a channel that for the most part, the same people likely watch regularly. It has no negative effect on the channel producer and in fact, is considered as positive by KZbin. I got to see a $500 sushi dinner in Tokyo and it didn't cost me a dime! :)
