Paolo, your vids came up as a recommendation for me. I was in Kyoto for a few days 18 months ago and just scratched the surface. I did fall in with it, though! I’m going back in two months. I am taking copious from all your videos and can’t wait to explore my favorite city on the planet.

I just subscribe, I like the culture in Japan, how children leave with their parents, and the way they move in groups. It makes them uniform. Your videos are informative and funny to watch. 😆

I loved this video! The food just looks so good. I couldn’t remember what the name of the pasta and ice cream was from a long time ago and there it was. The last item on your menu. You seem to cover everything in your videos. One last thing. I just introduced your videos to my 8 yr old granddaughter Jordy and now she would rather watch your food videos than have a bedtime story! So keep up the good work! You guys are Jordy fans for sure. Hey Paolo, Thanks once again for an awesome video. Watching your new upload has become my weekly ritual. My girlfriend and I are visiting Japan in March/April time and your videos are by far the most useful. You come across as a very genuine person and you and Meiko put a lot of work in to your videos. You said if there is any thing that could be improved, it could be nice to see both you and Meiko on the screen at the same time as you guys are awesome. Other than that nothing else to improve upon. You videos are incredibly informative and are fun to watch. :D

Love your videos! I watch a lot of other food vloggers that go around japan, but all they do it the stupid "mmmm it's so good" spiel and they never describe how or what it tastes like which annoys me to no end. Good on you for delivering on actual recommendations/ opinions.

I look forward to every one of Paolo's video's! Great info and advice! Visited Nishiki Market just last month and if I could just add my two cents. Not sure when Paolo visited but when I went (I think it was early afternoon) it was brutally crowded. Wall to wall people and no matter where you walk you'll be bumping into people. I think small kids would freak out. Many items for sale are VERY touristy and on the pricier side so choose wisely. The one item that really blew me away was the match mochi. You think it'd have a strong matcha taste because it was covered in green powder but it was mellow and melt in your mouth. Crazy good and inexpensive! We also tried Wagyu on a stick, don't do it. Very expensive and definitely not melt in your mouth. Same goes for the $30 grapes. They're good but not $30 good.
