こんにちは , I am Greek and was utterly surprised to see the video! So nice that you guys got your hands in some greek snacks! I live abroad and kind of miss a lot of things! Indeed the Volkan beer is a beer made in Santorini, where a big volcano is (it was inactive the last century but caused extremely big disasters in the past). Septem is also very tasty for Pils. I am glad Nina didn't send you the common ones to taste! Good job girl! About the almond chocolate: it's my favorite. Indeed the almond blossoms look very very similar to sakura blossoms. Our "sakura tree" (the tree that blooms first in spring) is the almond tree, with white or pink blossoms. The story goes that it's the first to one to bloom around February because it gets confused by the warm days that we have in Greece that period, only to lose the blossoms because of the cold in March. Oh I loved the whole video and how you enjoyed everything! Keep up the good work and definitely visit Greece...for...refill, of course! :P

This beer factory is in Eyvoia (an island) of Greece, the factory produces 7 different beer types and they call them by the names of the days in a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). All the weekday beers have more settle and fruity flavours and the weekend ones are more intense and 'hard' (as they are supposed to be 'rewarding, because you have made it through the week')... Very nice video with an impressive amount of actually fine greek snacks!

fan fact: the sesame seed bar, originally it's honey and sesame alone. Today they mix it up with all kinds of nuts and herbs. The original versions is a sweet that comes from antiquity. For break they way you pronounces Ion the first time was correct, for us the second would be written Aion. You have being explained in other posts that those were not cherry blossoms. And yes we do have cherry trees and thus also their blossoms in Greece too. Because I have tasted Japanese sweets (Japanese co-workers), your taste in sweets is extremely similar to ours, apart the green tea kit kat (this one I don't like). Only downside with your sweets, they are tooooooo small portions

Hi! Excellent video and I was lucky to find it! Honey has natural aromas depending on the herbs or flowers of nectar-rich plants harvested by bees. These are mainly, thyme, fir- pine tree, orange tree, heather, chestnut tree, cotton (floral), sunflower (floral). So, these herb flavors are in the sesame bars. ION, the square one, chocolate with blueberries and almonds (the brown bits). There is no cherry blossom in the ION chocolate with almonds (ION, is a legendary chocolate brand, a purely Greek company, since 1930). Big hugs from Greece!

It's so nice to come here and bask in the happiness. To watch people experiencing new foods is quite relaxing and it's even better when it's foods from your own country.

Hello there nice staf. About this at 15:01 yeah it looks like the cherry blossom but it is actually almond tree blossom. Both they are very similar. Japan has the same climate with greece mostly just little drier. There are also many sakuras very tasty cherries in Greece.

Ahahahaha we do have cherry blossom 🌸 in Greece but the ION chocolate has almond in it and that supposed to be the little flower that almond trees grow 💫💫💫
