Yeah, Yatai are a great hit with tourists from within and outside of Japan! Many have English or Korean menus as well - but even if they don't (like Yatai Keiji), everyone's open to help as long as you are putting in effort too!

@@Japanesefoodcraftsman thanks, i tried cooking with Asian noodles my first time and didn't go so well. =( i love those clear noodles but i gotta figure how to cook them right.

It can be tricky! Depending on what the noddles are made of, how thick/thin they are etc. it will heavily influence how long you should/can leave them in hot water to boil! Ramen are famously quite hard, since they get soggy in hot water quite fast.

@mikes7446 Try to cook them for less time, and get them out of the water fast next time. Then add them to your soup with ingredients (that you cooked separately) and eat them right after!
