The minimum wage in Tokyo is 1000yen(Rs. 701)/1 hour. If you do a part-time job, you can survive! As you might have realized, the cabbage is not Rs. 900 but Rs.90. It's written correctly but I said wrong. Sorry for the confusion!

What I learnt from this video and little bit of Google search: In Japan you will earn more definitely than India. If you are non veg , it's heaven for you. As it is almost equal costly in Japan for meat fish and eggs. Bonus as you will earn bit more. If you are pure veg , you can survive but it will be genuinely difficult. Horrible costs in supermarkets on top of not finding all types of food and adequate sources of protein. Even the traditional Japanese Buddhist foods that is served in temples are very costly. If you're in corporate world, you will face serious problems in going out to party and group eating activities which all organisations do , if you are veg. So , if you are non veg , Japan is very very good place both for visit and stay. If you are veg like me, I won't discourage you but surely reconsider like I did.

I myself visited Japan in 2019 August, it's really like paradise but also somewhat quite expensive but the product quality is like next to heaven, I would again go to Japan in future again & but would have to spend a LOT, Your Bullet Trains are very very expensive without a doubt but with JR Rail Pass it could made much cheaper but still quite expensive compared to India's Top class trains, I also previously visited Europe & many parts of the World & I can clearly say Japan was the best one of them, Though note that Chinese Cities are also becoming similar to Japanese cities & also much much cheaper !
