When has Bangladesh beaten South Africa in away tests? They have never won a test on South African Home soil. The only away win against SENA teams have come in NZ. In fact out of 14 Test Bangladesh has played against SA, they have never won a single Test against South Africa, away or at home.

At times you feel Bangladesh play test cricket as "test cricket" as in it's not real cricket its just a practice game before real cricket and that you can "test" your bench strength They love their mustafizur but he never plays test cricket Its like they see test cricket as an international talent hunt where you can play your talented youngsters and if they do well in test they can play the holy format of ODI cricket 🤦🤦‍♂️🤦🤦‍♂️ I have seen Bangladeshi facebook pages where they'll mourn a loss of an ODI game but won't bat an eye when they lose test series at home. Trust me, ODIs are a thing of the past and once the current crop of players i.e Virat, Babar, Rohit, Cummins, Shakib and company are gone ODI cricket will be reduced to 40 overs format

Sachin had suggested new format to ODI. 25 overs two innings for each team. In the end whose total of inning 1 and 2 is more they win. It negates the adverse effect of conditions like dew, overcast etc

I have a very intriguing one for you Jarrod! We know that Indian batting units are doing much better overseas than we used to previously. The older players are often found saying that when they played in SENA nations "they had never faced bowling like that before". The current lot seems all too comfortable with pace. Do u think that the quality of pace bowling in India going up has something to do with the batsman adjusting quicker overseas?

Thing is since India’s pace battery improved, SENA countries dont serve India pitches that help pacers a lot. There was a series at SA, where Bumrah bounced a bowl at helmet of the batter from Good Length, leading to declaring pitch unfit for play. Gavaskar on comm said : If that was an asian batter everyone would be criticizing his technique. So now opposition dont wanna give pitches that help either pacers or spinners overly much. Hence batting is easy nowadays for Indian batters on foreign soil. Now its just in mind.

The worst thing is they always send their best batters down the order. I have always seen it. A prime example is Mahmadullah. I don't know what is their problem.

Because Bangladeshi batters are still too vulnerable at new and hard balls. As a result Bangladesh's top order even to this day play just to make the ball older and softer. I know its pathetic😅, but it is what it is😑.

Whatever it is Bangladesh can sell matches better than any other team.Wether it's the match with Afghanistan or Srilanaka.Also we remember the Asia cup finals and champions trophy drama with NZ taking 4 wicket jut for 24 runs.Bangladesh would have had 1/2 international trophies if they didn't have that corrupted cricket board!

I can't remember who originally said it, but the phrase 'Bangladesh is the most consistently inconsistent team in cricket' perfectly encapsulates their performances. They can go from playing like absolute amateurs who make you want to turn off the TV to winning nail-biting matches that keep you on the edge of your seat.

They have some good players Mushfiq is technically good and consistent, a good anchor for the team in the middle order Liton is really good batter, the only one who can actually win his team matches singlehandedly (specially in white ball cricket) but not consistent as Mushfiq but apart from these two rest are average Miraz is not Lyon or Ashwin to get something out from dead pitch, nor he's Jadeja who can bat against any opposition Sakib is retiring mustafizur is too predictable most of the time and requires specific conditions that suits his bowling (if he gets that then he can bowl really well tho) Taskin is hanging around for long time now but still has no purple patches in his career, an average bowler that's it Tamim is out of the team and he's a minnow basher at best (with really lesser good performances against strong side throughout his career) too soon to say something about new guys but hassan looks promising, dont have the pace but keeps his line and length, hridoy is new, nahid rana is massively overhyped, batsmen will fear him if he bowls at 150+ regularly, hes gonna get bashed if hes bowling 135-145k with some deliveries clocking 148-150k...

Bangladesh and Zimbabwe were stats boosting opportunity for batsmen from 2000s... Sachin Dravid Sanga Kallis all did a huge stats padding by playing a lot against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh... But now a days no batsmen get that luxury. No main team plays Zimbabwe and Bangladesh have grown a lot to match the quality of NZ of 2000s... Test match statistics in 2000s need to be looked with a huge speculation

sachin played only 7 tests against ban and 8/9 against zim , and fyi that zim was much better than today's ban or today's pakistan / present sri lanka or west indies of now even today's Nz. Okay take the time period of 1990- 1999 even in that period Sachin's avg is 59-60 (approx) 5 more than rest of the world I will be more happy since SRT of 1994-1998 is the greatest level any batsman has played . those shots were alien like; it was Tennis elbow which allowed others to come close yet they still couldn't. by the end of the career he had100 centuries 35000 intl runs and test career avg of 56 . Cannot put down GOAT batter better than bradman. As bradman didnt face world class bowling or reverse swings spin maestros no matter how you want to twist the stats, Sachin had 40/41 Intl Centuries when he was 24/25 pre- 2000.
