Its good that so many SC backers are seeing this and learning flight and systems CAN be done properly and with consistent logic ... if you base what your doing on ACTUAL SYSTEMS!!!Or at least the theory behind those systems

I always enjoyed talking with A-10 pilots whom came to visit the base during air shows. This plane and the C-130 are two of my favorites, and I would seek out at airshows etc. Seen in flight, the A-10 is such a machine for high speed low flight sorties, all built around that massive gun. I think if this was built in Star Citizen, it would be built by Drake :-) Funny how Jarus found the V-Tol switch and made his A-10 into the Rattler from GI. Joe LOL!

Js JavaScript I actually have the harrier. It is on my list of planes to learn. MHE wants to take me throughout the Hogg first. Learning DCS has been a challenging but rewarding experience. MHE, Lex and Hon0 have been great teachers.

Having someone guide you is the best way to learn (IMHO), I was lucky enough to have a buddy take me and someone else by the hand to teach us. The A-10C was the first aircraft we learned, if you can get that down all other airframes are a cakewalk. It's fun watching new people hop into and learn DCS, it is very rewarding once you start to learn the systems.

I used to play IL2 all day on full sim settings, back in the day. The original IL2. Getting into jets has been a real lesson and I am very lucky to have Lex, Hon0 and MHE instructing me in the game. Great guys.

Citizen Gamer I’m just trying to get into IL-2 Box with my VR setup. Very immersive but it doesn’t feel like I’m making any meaningful progress on my own. I need to find a mentor.

After having not played IL2 for about..... 13 years... you and me both, lol.

If only SC would take notes from this game.

But the A10 cant handle a 20-foot drop cause fidelity?? I mean sure pilot jelly smear but the airframe would survive. Fun Vid. as the military runs toward aircraft without pilots switches are going away. Will sims keep up with the Jones or funny enough will dials and switches become too arcade like. Hows that for an Inception moment.

Maybe future craft will have an "inner thought" system :-)

how do they let you view the horizon but still let you see so much of the "mfd" equivalent screens.

Good ergonomic placement. CIG could do the same, if they actually referenced real world craft.

I laughed out loud at “Miller time”. Did you say that on purpose knowing it is an official tactical brevity term? For those who don’t know “Miller time” is code for attack complete and usually called by the last bomber/striker as the trigger to RTB and enjoy some cold ones.

A more experienced person who is using an A-10 can do it in about 5-10

Citizen Gamer or less if you inflight align, I know ;) just seems excessive or was this your first startup? Anyhow, don't mean to hate

MHE spent a lot of time explaining what things were. I think that was the bulk of it. It is ok, I am chronicling my learning experience in DCS. As of today, I have only had 21 play sessions. That is not a lot.
