Great watch. I’m always so inspired hearing your stories and your approach. Can I ask about a couple of terms: ‘in the book’ when the publicist is reviewing your work in progress, and ‘shot it deep’ when talking about that stunning Ghost in the Shell pic (do you mean you went for an f5.6 or higher to get good depth of field?). That's very kind! By deep I am referring to portrait frame soit fits a poster better.

I always learn something from you Jasin even if your covering things again. One question is the grading on fury road, did you create a LUT or an action to keep the finish consistant ? or every image treated as a new canvas ? cheers.

Glad to hear that buddy! So on every film in NIK I make some recipes but they can't be applied to images remote as each one is always a little different so I have to tweak each image individually. But I do have starting points.

Curious - from the first Matrix film specifically what is your favorite still that you’ve shot and being on set was there an air of “we’re making cinema history” or was it just another movie set?

Oh we knew it was something special! I wish I was a little more experienced to appreciate the opportunity I was given though... I think one of my fave shots was Morpheus being interrogated.
