Ingredients
4 Cups Jasmine Rice
5 Cups Water
4 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
Cook for 18-20 minutes or until grains are perfect

I love Basmati but I definitely prefer Jasmine it just has almost creamy texture I know they use it in a lot of East Asian cooking but it just sops up the sauce like no other

Jasmine rice is a lovely alternative to Basmati rice. Years ago, it was unheard of to use basmati. It was either white or brown rice, and in my opinion, I much prefer my rice& peas made with American rice. Thank you for bringing this up.
