Once again I feel the need to acknowledge just how good Alex is at hosting this show... JR = amazing guest and Alex (and Tinds) just give him the space and safe space to talk and open up. Alex's depth in knowledge and obvious keen interest in rugby and sport is palpable.. love the show guys and this was one of my favorite episodes (... and I'm a huge fan of Hask too so that is saying something!! haha)

I would agree because just like one of New Zealands greatest rugby league player in recent times Benji Marshell of Jason Robinson Benji Marshall speakers tour for Benji similar up bringing to win Australian Apprentice to give away for kids to rinse close to $500.000 Au they the public would support to encourage and to bring Jason app to any country to support kids into physical activities at school.

He is a fantastic man as a player and a human. He rose to the top of both rugby league and union. For me, he is the most exciting player I have ever seen. However, having played on the wing in my youth I am probably biased. A compliment from New Zealand is great because you are the best rugby nation in the world

Best episode ever. “Legend” is overused. Not in the case of JR. Electrifying player, in league and union, he received the ball and the whole stadium, Wembley or Twickenham, held its breath. And now eloquent, smart, authentic, decent man. And yes, a proper rugby legend.

A wonderful, G-d fearing man, what a journey, 2 codes, re -think of life, so when he scored, that try, he punched the ball into the stands, the raw emotion he let out is one of my special spiritual, passionate, emotional moments in sport, what an ambassador for triumph over adversity in life - A truly humble, lovely human and he will be such a role model to his handsome little boy.

Great show. As a spectator one always imagines, naively, that these superstars we see playing the sport that we love are unbeatable, constant and unwavering. It's so welcome and encouraging that we now speak and see the truth. It's also fascinating to watch this after the recent Ellis Genge show. Perhaps rugby has come long way in 20 years.

Could go on for ages about this excellent podcast channel and the legend that is and was Jason Robinson. My favorite billy whizz moment when he left Latham grasping full length on the turf for the 2001 lions at the end of a sweeping team movement. And watching the Middlesex sevens in person in 96 when 'that' wigan team won. And for the rest of his comments...couldn't agree more. No false modesty and yet not up himself.

The 07 World cup, when England were pasted by SA in the pool games, he was the only player who kept fighting and battled the Boks until he injured himself. I thought when he went off that England literally had no hope. Him and Wilkinson were real leaders in that team during one of the worst eras for England and brought England from the brink to a hard fought final

PAH Refreshing to have spent 90 minutes watching the best rugby show of the week, - without an excess amount of foul language. This is not really complaining about Mr Haskell, as I consider him to be a ideal person to be with both Mr Payne and Mr Tindall, but, could he perhaps be more economical with his choice of language? As an ex player, I do appreciate that the rugby fraternity do swear quite a lot, (and so it should continue), but there are times and places. Thank you all for getting these first rate guests, producing Good Bad and the Rugby, and just for being you.
