My question as well. I don't think this method works when selling as a POD item as it is impossible to recreate other people's names exactly the same way your listing photo has it when orders start coming in. Also, midjourney sucks with any text. It always misspells.

I don’t think that just the design would make someone buy a product from a new store. There is much more than that. Just to attract so many people to look at your product among thousands of listings, that by itself, it’s a huge deal. Usually, as a new store, your listings are not going to be at the top of the searches. So, how do you make your listings visible to so many people? What do you do to convince them that you are a better seller when you haven’t even sold 1 item and have 0 reviews. The list of issues you need to get right from the begging is long and those so-called instant successes make me very suspicious.

Yes, there are lots of variables to a successful listing. One tip is I would turn on Etsy ads to jump to page 1, I talked the logic for this in my latest video.

Great video! Although Midjourney, once again, proves it really knows how to misspell words and ruin fingers (Kayla with two l's)!! Always worth triple checking details in Midjourney images where words are involved, as you mentioned, and where there are limbs!

My store is pretty knew and 2 hours after I activated my 1st listing, I started receiving scamming messages asking my email to verify my account but reviewing my stats I noticed some strange things like NEVER ACTIVATED listings being favorited, once I think was the same name for one on the scamming messages, and lately they don't ask for my email, but offer to help me to have more views for my listings. I have come to think this is people who work in Etsy and they can manipulate this, maybe if they get paid or make an arrangement... 🤔

Please mention about the copyright on using A1 generated images. I think you need to pay MidJourney a fee in order to use the images for using the images and create the products to sell online.

Etsy allows driving external traffic, but I recommend driving traffic to your own site for diversification purposes (if you have a website set up)

I've been using Midjourney for a year, and using AI generated designs to sell digital products on Etsy. If you're paying for Midjourney then you can use the designs to sell stuff. Or there would be little point in paying for a subscription.
