Actually you passed approx. 300 riders cause there were only 100 black start numbers in the first wave and you and me were in the 2nd wave of 200. Still a great achievement! And you passed me👍

Here a message from the girl running up the hill in tears! 🤭 I was in the first wave and when the front of second wave came, someone thought he could pass me on the singletrack. Instead he pushed me against a tree which hurt my knee and hip for the next 180km. Still enjoyed the day and after a few days of rest everything was fine again! Most important, my bike was not damaged at all 🙌🏼

Back in '17 finished drenthe 200 on a 34th place after starting in the 3th wave, was like 120km passing people (800-33 🙂)before riding alone. The scratch was a 28th place for me. The organisation did'nt count right. But fair enough... It was a nice muddy day..

Yes, he got some serious ego. Maybe that's one of the reasons why he is able to get good results in competitive challenges. And those 99% where slower because they where not able to ride faster, where risk averse and had the wrong mentality to compete. :p

Hold on! Its Nov 21, and I am still in the race. The rain sucked but now it is colder..... No chance I could ride 200km in a day let alone 7-8 hours. I turn 60 in January and I really want to get into shape to be able to do 100km days. Right 40km leaves me burnt. I bought an ebike and can make 100km on it, but I am still burnt. The advantage of the ebike is I will get out and ride on windy crappy days, and I still push and pedal hard, no throttling around town. After years of riding late spring, summer and a bit of fall, I am going to ride all winter, hoping to build and maintain. I would always just feel my fitness getting OK, then park for the winter and back to square one, come spring. I have been watching a ton of young guys/girls killing it, and want to regain some of my teenage mileage. Dreaming of 1000km trip to the coast through the mountains in western Canada (Calgary to Vancouver) Amazing result starting from the back as you did. Inspiring to me for sure. - Cheers
