Jaws is a 1975 American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg, based on the 1974 novel by Peter Benchley. In the film, a man-eating great white shark attacks beachgoers at a summer resort town, prompting police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) to hunt it with the help of a marine biologist (Richard Dreyfuss) and a professional shark hunter (Robert Shaw). Murray Hamilton plays the mayor, and Lorraine Gary portrays Brody's wife. The screenplay is credited to Benchley, who wrote the first drafts, and actor-writer Carl Gottlieb, who rewrote the script during principal photography.

The mayor in _Jaws_ was Murray Hamilton, not Lorraine (somebody.) He also played Mr. Robinson in the classic 1967 film _,The Graduate._ He also played the evil cop in the 2nd of Dirty Harry films _Magnum Force._

Vi esta pelicula en su estreno y nos asombro a todos en el cine..despues de años ,en una playa en pleno verano excibieron la pelicula y al otro dia nadie queria entrar al mar ni yo..fue comico y hacia un calor del mismo infierno...eso fue en el año 1978 en Ventanas ,cine Acapulco..esto es quinta region Chile..

This is the problem with KZbin : Content providers who are driven solely by the compensation that accuracy is the least of their concerns. So many videos with bad information, intentionally deceptive titles, regurgitated and/or ripped off material are presented without any qualms. What really gets me is how many people thank them for this garbage. KZbin needs to bring back the "Dislike" count so that viewers can avoid wasting their time.
