JAWS BENEATH - a concept trailer

After a series of deadly shark attacks rock the town of Herald Bay, Dr. Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) - now a professor of marine biology - is called back to sea by the local authorities to lead a crew of fishermen to stop the beast.
This is an unofficial concept trailer for a potential new JAWS movie. It has been edited by me from over 20 various sources.
EDITOR'S NOTE: While I do not necessarily want a new JAWS movie, this is an attempt at imagining what it could possibly look like in the best circumstances.
Since many franchises are bringing back older actors to their most iconic roles (Harrison Ford in STAR WARS and BLADE RUNNER, Jamie Lee Curtis in HALLOWEEN, Jeff Goldblum in JURASSIC WORLD), I assumed a similar approach would be taken with this new installment. Finally, I wanted the trailer to blend different genres such as suspense, action-adventure and horror, like the original movie masterfully did.

Bringing in Richard Dreyfuss as Hooper again is so wonderful. This concept is not only terrific it is really due. Not showing the shark for the most part is what works in the film and in this 100% dream trailer. Great job. Spielberg should do it. Shark films still have bite! 🦈

This is actually amazing. You should really reach out to UNIVERSAL because this would be WAY better then a remake. They would probably screw it up with bad CGI. The only CGI shark that was impressive was the one from THE SHALLOWS. To get that company involved would make it a masterpiece.

Wow, this is an elite level edited concept this really is superb & very convincing. When people say "Oh it's only editing" really. You can give 1000's of people the same footage & 9 times out of 10 only one understands the visual projection that captures the imagination. It's a visual skill you have or you don't have. You can teach editing to people but, you can't teach visualisation that is an inherited skill so, the hating on this trailer is just pure jealousy.
