@@itspenguin7187 Cause it is true at least on the everyone part. I don't think modern times is horrible I do believe socially we are in a crisis.. Look at how films are seen in the last 5 years give or take. People don't care anymore about the movie other than to troll on it. Although I believe its more of a example of current society and not just simply everyone is messed up. For the most part a good portion of people are openly hostile doesn't matter if its good or bad. I believe it has more to do with the social issues now. PC idiots, trolls, Political hostility, gender or racial hostility they all contribute. Add to social media where you have people who literally made careers bashing films, people, actors or society and its just the new norm. This won't end until society stabilizes.

How do you make a video about this and not mention or show the barrels? They are a huge reason why Spielberg was able to get away with showing so little of the shark. Take away the barrel scenes and you have a problem.

This 'Clunky' mechanical contrivance is scarier than any CGI Shark/Sharknado (I love that film by the way). In exactly the same way that the Ray Harryhausen Stop-Motion Skeleton Army in Jason and the Argonauts are and will always be the scariest walking dead in cinema. There is something in our brains that knows that did actually happen, therefore it is real, therefore (if the acting is good) so is the story, consequently we are terrified and that is why when I fight skeletons I wear protection, and that ladies and gentleman is why I do what I do. BRAVO This is a fantastic video. Thank you 🏆

Could you cover the production difficulties of 'Saturn 3' please? Again it has another hydrolically operated robot that was a disaster to film but there was even more trouble behind the scenes with directors being fired, lead actor, in his sixties, insisting on doing full nudity and having it written into the script, dubbing Harvey Keital and so much more.....
@dan_hitchman0075 жыл бұрын
Seeing as how the shark was almost a failure, Spielberg, Shaw, Dreyfuss, and Scheider holed up in a local Martha's Vineyard motel and re-wrote the script around the the fact they had no working animatronic leading "man." They beefed up the character moments, and Spielberg allowed for improvisation, and let that drive the story and not the shark itself. That, my friends, is how you rescue a movie from certain disaster. Most actors just read their lines, get a fat paycheck, and leave. Spielberg and his cast were consummate professionals who went above and beyond. They were not going to let this movie tank.
