9:26 this is awesome! See, I've been doing isometrics since I was a teenager (learned it from Dragon Ball Z, well, mainly from DBZ). And I've always concerned myself because, at least for me, it's easy to build muscle with isometrics, but I've always been concerned with strength of movement. . Btw, if you are wondering how I learned from DBZ, you know, they power up by yelling and flexing. Most people focus n the yelling, I focused on the flexing. Just try keep the head and neck relaxed. Specially flex the neck. Then I learned to flex specific parts of my body until they shake. But it was more a curiosity than genuine interest. What I did for genuine interest was I flexed and pretended that was kaioken. Then I flexed harder and pretended that's ssj1, then flexed even more and pretended that's ssj2. And so on. Always not letting the pressure get to my head, of course. . The cool thing about it is, I flexed so much, when I relaxed, the muscles were swollen XD

That's because the military goes for endurance and stamina not necessarily strength. Also a bit of advice build up your muscle mass because then you would have a large base of muscle to work with that you can then train without worrying about fluctuating gains. It's like collecting lots of clay and then you start sculpting cutting away the excess and molding the rest into what you want. Cardio and calisthenics and weight lifting is a damn good combo for any activity you plan on doing. For cardio long walks to get the blood flowing is best since it's easy to Pace your breathing and you can feel the blood circulate through your muscles a feeling of fullness throughout the muscles of the body. Then you fast walk. And then a short run. Jumping jacks are good exercise too. Especially when you bend your knees while doing them. Do as many as you can at a manageable pace for five minutes. Body weight squats, push ups planche for 30 seconds.

Search for Stew Smith, he has tons of books, programs and such l, exclusively aimed at helping people get fit for military service and LE. With programs to help you reach things like acing the Rangers battalion requirements, the SEALs, Police SWAT, FBI HRT, etc. From my experience, having seem mad ripped people with me during military service, they lost like 60% of their beefiness. It sheds away in a way, but they'll get back to being beefy once they passed all their training. It's overall better to be lean and athletic and then once you're in, get "big". Tbf if you look at pics for SOF operators, only a small percentage are really beefy. Ps : SEALs are overrated, be a Ranger, Delta or PJ ;) From à former Recon and PMC

When I run, and I've been running long distances for years now, I never even consider stopping, and I never did. Not even once. When I decide to run, I am aware that no matter what, even if I throw up and every muscle fiber begs for me to stop, I never do, not until I run the entire distance. I also really dislike treadmills and love training in the rain/snow. Makes me feel like Rocky. As by your advice, I've been taking cold showers for years, so no matter the temperature, I never break.

Honestly a big part of power and small size is just knowing how to move your body, the technique in how to punch correct and kick correctly is so under rated by casual fans. You can be half the size in muscle to someone else and still hit harder, if your technique is better, we have literal clips of this to prove it.

8:44 You used my favorite chart! And thank you for always emphasizing the importance of warming up. Also, I think you alluded to it, but it's worth pointing out that strength also tends to be movement specific. People see others who are monsters at certain lifts and aren't that big and are in awe. But they don't realize that person probably trains that movement alot, and could be sacrificing other areas of development as a result.

The Avatar looks awesome!! For what the goal to strive towards is built but athletic body. Not the biggest but still able to move and run.

Right now I'm trying to lose the excess fat. But I feel like after that I will want a medium body leaning slightly toward large. Kinda like Goku at the end of Dragon Ball vs Tien.

I'm genderfluid and constantly go through the wanting to look nice and feminine but also wanting to beef up and gain muscle. I think this'll be a good compromise, so I really appreciate this video! I've done yoga for a while and I'm thinking of pivoting into more exercise, wish me luck!
