I think you picked the right guitar for you. You meshed with it fantastically. Other than that, I thought the Jazzmaster was amazing, could do everything, my personal favorite and top pick of the three. That said, it was hard to say that because that tele is one of the best sounding ones I've ever heard. The tele sounds like one of those hard to find guitars that everything is magically right on it.

I declare your guitar playing the winner! I am jonesing for a thinline Tele, so I'd have to go with that one but I would put a different finish on it. I did think the binding looked great though and I'm usually not a fan of binding on a Tele.

I'd be going for the Strat probably because I'm intrinsically more a Strat player but I loved the range of tones on that one. But I'd prefer it just as a sunburst personally.

In a jam between Chris Cain and Joey Delgado, Joey broke his E string. Chris immediately ripped off his E string, and they played the rest of the set with 5 strings each. Next set Chris didn't even bother to put on another E string and played the whole set with 5 strings. "Less stuff to think about.", he said. No problem...he was great. I see it was no problem for you either.

So, my order of preference would be Strat, Jazzmaster then the Tele. I’d run out of high e strings too quickly on the Tele :)
