You only have to look at the timeline to see this is a scam. He leaves the property at 8am hanging around and asks the cafe owner twice for bus time. She is then in her car and sees him again at 8.15am walking quickly towards the park. That only leaves 15 mins for him to get to the park, hurt himself, become dehydrated and unaware of his surroundings before he makes that call to Lucy and 30 mins all in from leaving the property. He's not missing. He went to the park to make the call, left and was picked up on the road. He would have been barely in the park when he made the call.

Reported missing at 9am....nobody reports their friends missing that soon after last being seen or heard from on holidays. Especially after a night out...in Tenerife. Especially after a festival in Tenerife. Even if he went off track it would've been bright. There's a main road that goes the whole way through that area so even if Jay was rambling through the brush he'd definitely be able to spot cars and busses traveling along that road and make his way back to it, and more than likely hitch his way back south. I'll describe the heat... i left the night before he went missing and when i was at siam park it was like the floor was lava running to shadows to stop my feet burning... Then when having to wait for the bus in an open area i was so greatfull for a tree as i was burning fast so definitely really hot during the day and jay was thirsty before 9 am.... Has anyone watched this video before it was uploaded? You have put a huge old fashioned microphone in front of the camera to block the view of the face of the presenter. Some people lipread and covering the lens to block his face is quite strange. There are lots of videos for beginners on youtube about how to film and how not to cover the camera lens and block the view. There are some about audio production too, those big old microphones from the 1960s are not the thing to use now. Use a PZT or small clip on electret condenser mic and it will not only be unobtrusive, but will give a much better audio quality. That must be a very old studio.

Strange that the two people alledgedly told Lucy law he jay was going out to get cigerettes and then was making his way home ,and the last picture sent to lucy alledgedly he posted a hand if him with a cigerette,behind a curtain ,that picture seems dodgy in itself, why such a cryptic image ,and after that ge disapeared. then the landlady said she alledgedly saw him 'walking fast' the wrong way ' Up a hill to a place she described as badland ,and you did not sound your horn to indicate wrong direction ok 😣
