Wow, I somehow didn't know they knew each other! It's always wonderful to see Robert in a more relaxed environment. He has a great laugh and sense of humor. Abdel Haleem and Tommy Robinson’s Chronological koran so I can cross reference with my Study Bibles and find a huge amount of ‘borrowing’ from our sources and other fables from Jewish and other books. There are variants. I went to look up a verse a few months back and found 22 Quran “writers” and the verse varied in each and a few were completely different. Yahovah says to expose evil so people will know. Was excited to hear 60% of Iran did NOT identify as Muslim anymore, and Christ saving in visions. Respect to you both, brothers.

Two of the greatest people to me. It was these two gentlemen who helped me understand the lies of Islam. I started listening to these two around 2012. After the twin towers were knocked down by muslims which was when I started to look i to Islam to see why they were killing us. I got lost on my way until about 2012 when I stumbled upon Robert Spencer, or it could have been a few years earlier. Then I stumbled upon Christian Prince just month ago. He is a native Arabic speaker so he knows the muslims tricks when it comes to that language. Do you know that the English translation of the five most important slamic texts on the Muslims website are all fake. They do not match the Arabic in context most of the time. They changed words from the Arabic, they ad words to the English translations so as to water down the truth of the texts for a western audience. Taqqiya is been done on us with these Muslims English translations. They are bogus.

The author of the Qur'an is smart and professional, he took from all the laws and ancient books from the civilization of Persia, Babylon, the pharaohs and the eloquence of the Arabs with the help of Pastor Waraqa bin Nofal and the monk Behairy. Therefore, Uthman burned the Qur'an because Muslims had a lot of difference, whether in reading, writing or correctness.

Had my copy of Robert Spencer's "Critical Quran" delivered by Amazon in record time. I expected more Commentary than was given. I notice that Jay's copy was a farely thick book. Mine was still the 548 pages but very thin pages. I always want to write notes so this could be a problem. For the price of $60. Canadian dollars plus shipping I would have appreciated a more robust volume. It is a hard cover but somehow the thin pages annoy me. It's like one of these slim Bibles you can buy. I noticed mine was "printed in Canada", maybe the U.S. versions are printed on thicker paper. The letters of the Quran are readable but the "commentary" at the bottom of the page (which is usually about 2" of print) is very small and you might even need a magnifier. I hope the content makes up for the other oversights.

If human life was discovered on another planet would religious people abandon religion? Humanity's efforts should go to accomplish the endeavor for our own survival. What else could end religion? In the example of the planet you know how are other planets and you could speculate about how could be the unknown planet. We know that of all the innumerable religions that dishonest humanity have made up only one could be the revealed truth, therefore only one prophet could be honest and the others are liars or bad people intended to hurt others. The concepts of hell and heaven, a personal god that listens to prayers and interferes with reality and is pleased with sacrifice and many others were made up by false prophets but coincide with the concepts of what are claimed to be the true religions! How on earth a hater making up a god would guess right how is the true god that is claimed to love you!. The truth is that religions are influenced and copy concepts from other religions and no prophet ever listened the absolute truth from the intelligent creator of the universe. How I earnestly wish that there is now an original ARAMAIC GOSPEL because I am dying inside to read it. I hope there is a translation in English. It's hard to read it in its original form in Aramaic. I don't know that language. I think Aramaic is much harder to read than Arabic. I believe that this Gospel is a book of spiritual guidance from God. Unlike the 4 make-believe gospels, their contents are purely biographies of Prophet jESUs (pbuh) but with a huge hole in the accounts of his life covering the primetime of his age. From what museum or library can we find the original ARAMAIC GOSPEL? Is there any original manuscript for it? I am urging Jay Smith and his cohorts to produce that book as soon as possible so that Muslims and Christians alike will be enlightened. -05-28-23

You keep saying aramaic but the book given to Jesus was the injeel. Injeel is a Greek word which is where the word gospel comes from. So the gospel is written in Greek and btw, that's what a majority of people at the time of Jesus spoke. "Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord [i.e., the Qur’ān]." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people." 5:68 Is Allah telling Christians and jews to judge by a gospel they no longer have? Because we know the Torah isn't corrupt because we have the dead sea scrolls that show our old testament scriptures are intact. The same scriptures which refute muhhamad because there is no mention of him and muhhamad Gordon against the Torah and Gospel.

Then Allah sends an angel who is ordered to write four things. He is ordered to write down his (i.e. the new creature's) deeds, his livelihood, his (date of) death, and whether he will be blessed or wretched (in religion). Then the soul is breathed into him. So, a man amongst you may do (good deeds till there is only a cubit between him and Paradise and then what has been written for him decides his behavior and he starts doing (evil) deeds characteristic of the people of the (Hell) Fire. And similarly a man amongst you may do (evil) deeds till there is only a cubit between him and the (Hell) Fire, and then what has been written for him decides his behavior, and he starts doing deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise." Humans like to know where things came from, that's why we study science, history, archaeology, geography, etc. It's important to know how the Quran was put together, what variants existed, which were chosen, what verses went missing, etc. Scholars are not interested in "undermining" anything, just adding to our knowledge. Many Muslims don't understand this, and think that it's always an attack. As for Islamic growth, anyone can tell you that it's 99% due to Muslims having the highest growth rates of any major religions, which has nothing to do with the "values" of Islam. These however have been steadily going down as people become more educated and hence the growth of Islam is slowing down. Also, if you study the numbers involved in conversions, you'll quickly find that the majority of people leave Islam after a few years of converting - usually when they take the time to read what the sources actually say or study a bit of history and science and realize that it's just another man-made religion/book full of outdated ideas from its time and place.

@@theastronomer5800 OK sure. I rather doubt true believers care much about the authenticity of the texts. What seems to distinguish Islam is that it's a complete way of life that many people find appealing. It has a vigour lacking in Christianity. And while most of the growth may be due to high birth rates that in itself is an indication of success. The big question is whether it's a threat to our existing cultures. I think it probably is. Jay is certainly on a crusade to undermine Islam by questioning its authenticity but most believers are unlikely to pay attention.
