Seriously, so many slipknot fans hate on their newer music, especially WANYK for whatever reason. This album shows so much of their musicianship and versatility. Cohesive from startvto finish with some serious bangers and complex lulls. Idk how they did it, but its fantastic and i cannot wait for the next album. Saw them live this past weekend and they were so clean.

WANYK is loved by 99% of the fan base though. I don't see any hate around it.

Please do this again for their new upcoming release and do it with Jay because he seems the most grounded and speaks at the same level as the listener. I enjoyed it so much I would like to hear any other metal bands that would like to do it. It’s a cool way to see what is going on inside their brains while writing new material. Thanks!!!

His dad Mighty Max Weinberg is my favorite drummer damn he bangs harder than anyone I’ve watched and how he keeps up with Bruce sometimes for 4 hours at a time is amazing and I saw Jay fill in for him once and damn he’s an impressive young drummer I’m just learning Jay is slipknots drummer and I think it’s fucking awesome and I was telling my girlfriend who introduced me to slipknot damn I love the way the drummer hits and it made my day learning who he was

Am I one of the few who gets a Marilyn Manson's Resident Evil Soundtrack wipe for the song Spiders ?
@MatthewSchiess2 жыл бұрын
Hell yes! Especially the solo. I think that solo would’ve been right at home on Antichrist Superstar. But the whole song to me gives me a vibe of if David Bowie were asked to write a complete song for Slipknot, if that makes any sense.
@KevinSmile2 жыл бұрын
WANYK is the album that introduced me to Slipknot. Fantastic album. If I had to rate the songs from top to bottom I would go like this: #1 Nero Forte, #2 Birth Of The Cruel, #3 Critical Darling. #4 Unsainted #5 Liars Funeral #6 Solway Firth #7 Orphan #8 Red Flag #9 NLFTW #10 Spiders Insert Coin, DBOD, and What's Next are kinda more like skits that you'd find in Eminems old albums. I don't really count them. Insert Coin is a fantastic intro to the album. What's Next is a good reprieve before you move onto the last section of the album. DBOD is weird and I usually just skip it... sry. I reserve the right to change my mind on my ranking.

Do you think Slipknot can bring back Joey's playing style to this day? 2009 until 2013 was the proof of that. If Slipknot wants to save their legacies, they need to take a different path. And it's almost 8 years since Joey was out of the band. Move On. Even the man has Moved on
