Is Chitra Rajma related to Pinto beans? It has the same look and also mashes easily and is used in Mexican cooking to make refried beans. I don't like the intensity of flavor of Rajma so I don't make it often, but this recipe looks fabulous. I'll try this next. Thanks. You have inspired me to get a stainless steel wok which has flat bottom and thick triple ply construction. Looks very handy. BTW, make sure you cook the Kidney Beans really good as uncooked Kidney Beans will give you gastric trouble as it is kinda poisonous if it's uncooked. 😮 Only Kidney Beans have that problem.

Rajma is an authentic Indian recipe and you totally destroyed it. I'm disgusted at the very thought of vinegar in the sauce destroying the taste of khade masale in rajma. These quick fixes should be limited to dhaba food and not traditional and most loved Indian foods.
