It looks easy and practical to use, a great tool for people like me who don't like to clutter their projects. However, it didn't give me a 'wow' feeling like God Particle, but I think I will get it. Good luck!

Man how do u export stems in studio one? I have parallel processing on bus channel and i want one stem that include parallel processing. But channel track export doesn't allow me to export Bus channel with parallel processing.
@ShynAwkward3 ай бұрын
People have been requesting 'Professional' stem export options for YEARS, but Presonus refuse to listen to basic feature requests, even though every other DAW has this feature. Every "grouped/processed stem" has to be rendered individually/manually in Studio One - which will add hours of unnecessary labour on large media projects. You may just have to find a better DAW from a company that actually listens to their customer's *Professional* needs...
@contraspower63023 ай бұрын

Thanks for testing. But the plugin is not such an eye opener as the God Particle plugin ... for 79 Dollerz no added value what other saturation plugins can already do.
@2probeats3 ай бұрын
I’ll have a breakdown of the plugin sometimes soon. The plugin does nothing new but it’s all in a single place.
@kickandsnareproductions5363 ай бұрын
True. Tested it so far against my 2/3 drum bus plugins and it does nothing more than I can achieve through my chain. Yes it does it all in one place but both the presets and the single knobs didn’t do anything that impressive
@Mike_Benz_3 ай бұрын
The God Particle you are basically paying for a Multi-Band Compressor with his preset settings fixed into it, a saturation tool that is one knob so his preset settings baked in, and a Limiter with his preset settings fixed in. This is why you should mix into it, it will only sound good when you put signals the presets sound best/good on into it. You can do this with the plugins you already have and you will end up with very similar results because you are going to manipulate the sounds in ways that will end up with a similar frequency balance that you like the sound of.
@miletonegotit2 ай бұрын
The goal of the plugin is to give you access to jaycen joshua's drum bus processing, not to be different. The God Particle too was just his whole izotope Ozone masterchain and his NLS in one plugin, not something out of the ordinary. They're goot at the simple things they do.

This plugin is mid at best. Not much special about it to be honest - I will wait to see other reviews and perhaps a demonstration from Jaycen J and see how he uses it. So far not sold on it.
@tonygunz213 ай бұрын
That's pretty much every plugin these days. At this point, it seems like we keep getting a bunch of repackaged stuff, or lumping together a bunch of different processors into one plugin.
@2probeats3 ай бұрын
Why do you feel this is mid? I know what the plugin is trying to “emulate” - all plugins used in series and in parallele by Jaycen and I think it’s a great concept even if it’s not revolutionary.
@diamonddistrictstudios3 ай бұрын
@@2probeats I understand your view on this plugin, however for the amount of hype and marketing effort put into it VS what the plugin actually delivered from this demo and a few others on YT so far - the 2 dont match. I, like you & many others own the God Particle which is great but this plugin gives off the vibe similar to many of the "magic bullet" Big Mixer plugins from Waves. Thank you for making the review though, love & respect from Cape Town, South Africa

I had the original template from ProTools and copied the drum aux + parallels with plugins other than waves. I tried Orion and wow - am I disappointed. It sounds stupidly bad. There are just no words to describe it. It's the same low quality plugins like most of those "all in one plugins". Wow, and this took like one year. I'm so disappointed. BS plugins for beginners , not even for their benefit
@SPD873272 ай бұрын
It’s not just for beginners nor mostly marketed to them. Just because you’re an intermediate/pro doesn’t mean you have to be in control of every tiny perimeter. Simplicty usually wins over tedious mindless over complicated processes. But hey to each their own lol 😅 some people are just weird control freaks when it comes to the music they produce/mix. Not saying you btw not at all, I just meant in terms of other engineers I’ve talked to. I really don’t get why they’re like that sometimes. 🤔
@bluematrix50013 ай бұрын
For what I see and hear here is just nothing special, actually is very limited, but for many inexperienced people is a shortcut to enhance your drums, and a tool that have may processes in a single Plugin...for me seems to be a marketing buzz.....just another plugin or tool...but easily you can mix without it.
@2probeats3 ай бұрын
It’s the sound of Jaycen Joshua. That’s the marketing 😂.

@@2probeats sure, the problem with plugins is that the placebo effx is huge, you test it, you say is cool, and in few weeks is not so awesome and if a couple of months you rarely or never use it … have to be shockingly great or a game changer to buy it

You don’t need to tweak every tiny parameter. It’s simple because it’s based on Jaycens workflow, and it’s really not that hard to mix electronic drums anyways, this is here simply to take your drums to a polished sound quicker.
