Well said, he didnt just sing a song he touched your soul with it. REGAL VOICE is the best description ive ever heard of his voice, ive even used it myself as it says it all. Im a 61 year old guys guy, but ive always respected and loved Elvis, his presence has endured so well over the decades i just hope he can see it as he was always afraid he would be forgotten. No danger of that id say, hes part of this countrys and the worlds fabric and noone can take that away from him or his fans.

Like your hat, lol. Saw this when it was first on TV. What Now My Love was Anthony Newley's hit first in the 1960's. Elvis could do any cover and make it his. Big finish at the end, genius use of drama, holding back to the end yet an intensity in his low voice, unmatched. He takes you on a real carnival ride. No drama til the end, where it belongs. Not all the way through.

This is from the rehearsal concert of Aloha from Hawaii at january 12 1973. The concert by satelite was at january 14 1973. With both i was there as kid of 8 years old. Aloha from Hawaii is still the most viewed concert in history. At that evening of 14 january 1973 1,5 billion people saw that concert on tv thanks to satelite broadcasting. 1,5 billion was in 1973 1/3 of the world population. Thanks to rebroadcasting it is viewed by more then 4 billion people. No other tv programm of whatever comes close and will never come close. Also good to know is the fact that before the rehearsal concert started Priscilla came to tell Elvis that she started up the divorce procedure which will be completed in october of 1973. This is why he sang this song. The concert by satelite of january is also an example how generous Elvis was. After he introduced the members of his band, he told the audience that the concert was a benefit concert for a hospital on Hawaii who specialized themselves in research for medicine against leukemia by children and that thanks to the audience there was got 75000 dollars and that he raised it again with 75000 dollar.
