I like to see that people like Jay are starting to talk a lot about life jacket safety. Coming from the kayak fishing community everyone wears and preaches wearing life vests. I continue to wear my life jacket even on my boat. Seeing boaters not utilizing safety items is quite eye opening. Keep it up Jay!

Speaking about life Jackets. anybody know a good auto inflate that fits large build guys. I went to Cabelas and nothing fit. like wearing a childs vest.. 6'4" 275lbs seems like everything is for super skinny guys or short fat guys. feel like I'm being choked with the things.

Props about the life jacket talk and the rest of the safety tips as these things are rarely pushed by content creators and are very important topics! Buy a life jacket you find comfortable so your more inclined to wear it and keep it on throughout the day. I’m very hesitant to use self inflating life jackets after my mother had an unexpected fall overboard while docking a 32 foot sailboat with my father. After falling in the jacket didn’t inflate and it was a very high end brand that I won’t mention as they don’t deserve negative publicity. I’m a huge fan kayak and canoe style PFD that aren’t bulky on the sides! Great job promoting the safe boating and fishing Jay your an incredible influence!

it was a hot August long weekend, by buddy had been building a deck and shed, he decided to take his 2 aunts out for a quick boat ride and a swim. After getting out on the lake and to the swimming hole, he stood on the edge and went for a leak. He fell and sank. Never splashed or made any noise. His aunts didn't even know what happened. found him a week later. He had a few beers (was not drunk) and no life jacket. They figure he had a heat stroke and passed out. A life jacket would have kept in on the water surface so his aunts could have grabbed him. Sad....
