Where have you been Jamie Jay Car? I've missed your videos. So glad you uploaded, it made my day!

Jamie, your channel should double as a travel guide because the people you interview give such a wonderful description of their county. I like the pride the Irish have for their residence. It’s always a delight to watch your videos, my friend. Said from the heart from this second generation Irish American to you my Irish friend.

I moved to leitrim from wexford. I find the people very welcoming and warm. The scenery, lakes and mountains are fabulous. More laid back than wexford but yes, wetter but still lovely

Love that you put the subtitles in this one even though I can understand everything they’re all saying easily! All of Ireland’s accents are almost identical to Newfoundland! *thanks to Newfoundland, east coast Canadians completely understand all Irelands accents!

I'm moving to Ireland in January or so, and each one of your videos makes me more undecided about which city/county I should move to. Donegal and Leitrim seem so quiet and cool, Galway has more of a nightlife, Wexford's got strawberries and beaches and Kildare has... horse races I guess. Every one so far have its charms. I guess I'll have to get a car and roam around a bit.

Oh im so happy for you. Can I come with you? Lol. I live in South Georgia, US. My husband has informed me if Trump gets back in the White House, we can go anywhere in the world we want!! We are on a budget, but ill work 3 jobs to move to Ireland. Hands down. Lol. Kildare is beautiful. Country Town. Take care and all the best. This is going to sound corny but my ancestor who was the head surgeon of the Spanish military hospital during the late 1700s in st augustine fla. Which my family still lives there to this day. Anywho. Dr. Thomas travers was his name and he came from kildare, kilmead to be precise.

@@alexcris5344 I've been living in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. It's a charming city located just 40 minutes from Dublin Center. I've been working close to the airport, so it's a really easy comute. But I'm still considering moving to a calmer region of Ireland... but so far it's been great living here.

Last night I had a pleasant dream I woke up with a smile I dreamt that I was back again in dear old Erin's Isle I thought I saw Lough Allen's banks in the valleys' down below It was my lovely Leitrim where the Shannon waters flow I stood enchanted by the scene of grandeur and delight I headed off for Carrick town before the dark of night I passed Sheemore that fairy hill where flowers wildly grow And I saw the grave of Finn McCool where the Shannon waters flow The next I saw was Fenagh Town with her ancient abbey walls Where the preaching of her holy monks re-echoes through her halls I stood with reverence on the spot reluctant for to go From the town of saints and sages where the Shannon waters flow I've travelled far through these great lands from the east unto the west But of all the islands I have seen I love my own the best And if ever I return again there's one place I will go It will be to lovely Leitrim where the Shannon waters flow Written by Philip Fitzpatrick, Aughavas, Co. Leitrim (1892-1947)

Im born on Tyneside England. I found this interesting, as iv just found out my Ancestors fled Leitrim in the mid 1840s. They had lived near Loch Allen apparently? Landed in Wales and moved to Newcastle. Worked in Foundry's. Ancestors names from Leitrim were Mc Farlan and Mc Mannus. Have Cassidy, Mc Ivor Hurley and Browns in my line too. Not sure where they come from tho? I hope to visit Leitrim. Erin go Bragh.🇮🇪
