Hate mine. Waste of money. Advice, if you get one, get the $900 and up ones bare minimum. Unless your tailbone is made out of steel. The seat I have on mine was pathetically thin day 1, and in under two years it's non-existent. It's basically like sitting on concrete. The build quality is excellent though.

Jay - if you mount a small ledge on the underside of the back of the table, you can place the power strips on it between the table and the wall, making those ~level with the table too. This has the added benefit of leaving you the full table space and easier reach behind the table when you have to route cables.

You should look at using a Windsim for that Rig. Especially with VR it adds to the immersion (even tho there is no wind behind a windscreen, tricks the brain nevertheless), and keep the driver cool. It's relatively easy with a Raspberry Pi and some fans to do that.

What I would do with those 2 desks is put one BEHIND the other, at a taller height, so you have a 50" deep, two-tiered desk, and your huge monitor (I'd probably do a 48" ROG OLED) is far enough back to be comfortable, plus you have a little space under the back desk to slide your keyboard into, giving you the full 25" of depth for using your front desk. You could even custom some drawers or something into the rest of the garage space on the sides of your keyboard slot.

"The man who dies with the most toys...WINS." I have a suggestion. I placed my large evodesk perpendicular to my gamer room wall. This gives me almost 360 degree access to the desktop. I did this for two reasons: It allows me easy access to the rear of the desk and I can see the LGB lights on the back of my monitor. I also have a second desk. It's also placed perpendicular to the wall with a walk-space between the desks. I use the second desk to hold my large two paper tray printer, my UPS, my EPSON WorkForce ES-865 Color Document Scanner, my two front speakers, and my subwoofer. Having the two desks also allows me to setup a 7.1 speaker system. The rear speakers are mounted on the wall behind me.

Man, once I'm finished fine turning my own hardware store repurposed desk build, I might have to email some pictures for the next time you roast setups. I've taken a Husky Industrial style garage shelving unit that's 90"x90"x24" to be my mega desk/shelving unit for all my geek stuff. The desk surface itself is 85" x 24" deep. Given that it came with crappy wire racks for the shelves, I used 1/2" sanded plywood for the surface. Though seeing the surfaces of those work benches, it has me now contemplating maybe doing something like that for the desk part of the unit, as they sure do look nice.

Too late for your setup, but Home Depot has variable height Husky branded work benches that raise and lower via a hand crank. You can get them in several lengths and are built like tanks. With heavy duty locking casters, real wood tops and optional drawers. I have a 54" x 24" unit without the drawers as my main computing desk and one with drawers as a work bench. Both of them together cost about the same price as just one of the rickety-ass "standing desks" I looked at prior to finding these. Not bad looking either, check them out.
