I'm writing the right hand solo lesson which will be call and response over this prog :) PS I was thinking about your issue of continuous 8th notes and I would experiment with starting and ending phrases off different parts of the bar to avoid endless 8th notes (set a strict goal post - a start and end point and repeat practice). Another great jam-along track. I hadn't really realized just how much I've picked up on basslines. I was quickly moving beyond even the variations you suggested. It was one of those "wax-on, wax-off" moments. But of course you also show some new directions that hadn't occurred to me. One thing I noticed that is that for some of the time, the fourth chord in the display is Ebmaj7 but you're playing a G7. Starting around 8:57. Did I miss something?

Thanks Dan! I'm so glad it's helping you find more variations, which is the whole idea! Thanks for pointing out that Eb - originally I had planned this exercise over 8 bars (first part of autumn leaves) so was adapting it and that Eb slipped through. When I went to record I realised it would've added a huge amount of time, so I thought I'd release a seperate one for minor 2-5-1s down the track :) I can't fix the graphic in the video but I'll fix up the sheet music to download - thanks for letting me know :)
