I got mine delivered today...there we're 2 speakers in the box, not 1. I've got the bb3 too and I can tell there's a sound difference but very small. Great speakers.

I got it recently for 375eu as i had a discount code. I've also heard the hyperboom, but as far as im aware the boombox outperforms the hyperboom in lows (it actually replicates lower frequencies than advertised) whilst the hyperboom does better in the mids and highs. At that point its kind of about personal preference and what music you listen to and what you use the speaker for.

I completely agree with Kosher Tech when it comes to the price for the JBL Boombox 2,i have Sony GTK - X1BT from about 4 to 5 years ago which is suppossedly 500 watts but we all know that's tech BS for us to buy a product.No way is my Sony Audio Bluetooth speaker is 500 watts but it as a Radio.Usb Port..RCA Connections at the back and DJ effects and that cost me £159 five yars agi.A proper 2.0 Audio System sbout three foot high with two large woofers and 2 tweeters.Okay the JBlL sound will probably better quality as in sound but my Sony Speaker will be more powerful and also can charge my devicrs like the JBL Boombox 2 plus play a USB Stick with my music on. So people don't mr wrong i'm not saying the JBL Boombox 2 is terrible but at the very lesst for $500 at the time that equates to £365.29 English currency then for thst $500 in today's time i'd expect an all in one audio system 2.0. if i paid $500 for the JBL Boomboc 2 in America.

Sorry, this is a commercial to support the Hyperboom. When I went to buy a speaker with FULL bass and FULL trebles, I saw these two. I was completely drawn to the JBL Boombox. Like a car, you need to go see it for yourself before buying it.

Still! to this day 5-21-2022, I was at a flea market in Florida where The JBL Boombox 2 and the HYPERBOOM both were there. I demonstrated by playing Pink Floyd's "Us and Them." AGAIN! the JBL Boombox 2 out performed the Deep Deep bass that the HYPERBOOM could not produce. HYPERBOOM can produce a lot of bass but with a boomy bass where the Boombox 2 can go to lower bass frequencies. If I want a warm, natural sound, you can get that from much cheaper less quality speakers. I paid for Agressive Attacking variable frequency sound. JBL Boombox 2 is well worth it! Along with deeper bass, I want to hear crispy crashing symbols and pronunciations where you can even hear an artist sniffle in a recording. You must try Elite, In Studio musician artists like Sting, Pink Floyd or Steely Dan. JBL Boombox 2 is hands down "The Winner" there. Hip Hop R&B or Club Music generally sounds good even comparible in most speakers.
