I haven't timed it particularly and I never play at 💯 volume as that doesn't end well for the speaker in the long run. Even so,at higher volumes,the battery backup is impressive and far more than any cheaper option out there. Also,the Tribit StormBox Blast is brilliant. Checkout my review of the same and then decide.

I have jbl charge 5 i purchase it last year, and to me its worth the price, the audio quality is amazing especially around 40-80%vol. Also the battery life is quite tough i used it everyday in our store from 8am-5pm around 40%vol and i can still squeeze 40%of battery at night, and of course the built in design quality is superbly tough i accidently dropped it several times in my bike but it only gets few minor scratches, even when its raining i never have probz nver worry at all while driving.. Hope it last forever:)

Loved the video. I just bought the JBL Charge 5 Wifi Edition. It'll be my first wireless speaker, and apart from being able to play hi-res audio over Wifi like Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, FLAC, etc., it has double the battery capacity (7500 mah vs 14100 mah) of the original Charge 5. Would love to know your thoughts on it as well. Liked and subscribed! :)

@@RahulSaini Sound Quality some have better bass some have better mids and highs and yeah some JBL CHARGE 5 have plastic drivers inside and some have paper drivers so the paper one CHARGE 5 will be died if submerged in water

I got my jbl extreme 2 for 15,499/- it's still better than charge 5, for the same price. More bass, loudness might be very close but as a smaller driver when it gets loud it becomes annoying to ears, so extreme 2 is better for me.

I have the exact blue charge 5 along with my flip 6 they sound amazing especially with the partyboost, most amazing products don't come cheap... the quality, craftsmanship, sound, durability etc that's what u pay for.

The jbl charge 5 should have been no more than $129.00 u.s. at launch..their pricing for jbl products is unreasonable..you can buy the tribit stormbox blast and it's already outperforming 2 jbl products charge and xtreme and is only $200.00..sometimes less.

i think the charge 5 is the best speaker for its price, yes it is jbl and yes it is a bit over priced but you get what you pay for. i do have a load of jbl products and the charge 5 is my fave but i do like a lot of bass and i got the boombox 3 for £265 not sure what it is for you but normally it’s £500. i got it brand new from switzerland

Aren't Marshall speakers overpriced? JBL should have to give you a special 50% discount all their products so next time you won't cry like a baby for their prices. That price is justified imo, you get a great sound in such a compact form factor, the premium design and bulid, jbl signature sound, portability, ease of use, and many more.
