Montane Prism jacket is my go to warm jacket and my compact, lightweight walking poles - great for scrambling approaches and then they disappear into my sac. I’m really lucky as my wife is an optometrist, so got to have good quality 😎.

I do love my sticks, I use BD Z poles and they're ace - they should've made the lost really!

Group shelter great for lunch stop esp if you are sweating and there is a cold wind.

I used to love Patagonia. Here in LA it's become such a trendy thing to wear now. So now I call it patagucci. Because now a t shirt is $80 and every hip kid has one

You've mentioned a few times about the battery life of your phone in your videos. Do you switch it to airplane mode when out in the hill? It will last for days, the GPS still works as does the camera etc. I then just switch mine off airplane mode to check for messages or to make calls, assuming there is a signal. It is poor or intermittent signal that really drains the battery

Sometimes I do, depends on the day a bit. My current phone is just fine as it's newish, but for not much weight a power bank seems work it a lot of the time :)

What do you pair your pocket rocket with? I use the Alpkit mitimug 600ml which works pretty well as a pair but probably isn't that efficient. One fave bit of kit I've learned to love is the cheap and light sit mat shoved down the back of the bag, much prefer that to sitting on my pack. Weighs nothing and has so many uses.

I've never got on to getting a little sit mat thing, happy with my pack or whatever, but people who use 'em love 'em! I've got a couple of titanium mugs: I use a Nordisk one which is probably 300ml, great for one night, if I'm out for longer I use an Alpkit one, probably the same as yours but 900ml I think? I can fit the stove and small gas in the Alpkit one.

Hi what do you think of the dmm apex ice axes? I'm looking at getting some ice climbing axes really for winter and don't really know between the dmm and petzl axes.

Won't lie, I haven't used them a massive amount, only a few routes worth! They are built like a tank so feel super solid, swing well, I reckon they'd last years and years.

Bit like this comment I guess... 2 years ago, lock down, therefore not working, these videos were as much for my mental health and keeping busy as anything else. I don't remember what the first 5 minutes was, neither do I particularly care.
